Well we know now the CIA and USAF lied about researching UFO’s and having information…

So either the leaks were/are pretty bad in the UK and the US felt revealing anything wouldn’t be in their best interest. Or the USA wasn’t the friend it claimed to be. Or the US contacts the UK had were not in the know. This lack of partnership is probably info the Russians would have liked to have known to take advantage of–or perhaps they did.

Either way the UK would be best served by continuing to do their own investigations.
