FAA Instructions to Staff on UFO Sightings Debunk Cover-Up Claims

Early this year, the FAA issued a series of new changes to its official Air Traffic Organization Policy. Specifically, this release was related to “air traffic control procedures and phraseology for use by personnel providing air traffic control services.”

Even though the document mentions how air traffic control staff should respond to UFO sightings, it has gone virtually unnoticed by Ufology.

The document first lists a small change in what organization where staff should report sightings. On page 17 under a review of document contents, the document states:

“This change corrects one of the organizations to which UFO/unexplained phenomena activity can be reported. NIDS is defunct and has been replaced by BAASS as the proper reporting agency. This change also includes a phone number and e-mail address for BAASS.”

This section is important because it makes it clear that there has already been an accepted FAA policy related to reporting UFOs even before this document was published, and that the “proper reporting agency” was NIDS – the organization formerly owned by Robert Bigelow and now defunct.

FAA Instructions on How to Report UFO

On page 401 of the document, section 9-8-1 provides a more specific explanation of how the FAA wants its staff to deal with Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) Reports:

“Persons wanting to report UFO/unexplained phenomena activity should contact a UFO/unexplained phenomena reporting data collection center, such as Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies [contact details removed], the National UFO Reporting Center, etc.

If concern is expressed that life or property might be endangered, report the activity to the local law enforcement department.”

It’s pretty clear from this internal document that the FAA does not discourage its staff from issuing UFO reports. In fact it leaves little doubt that staff are encouraged to report sightings to either private UFO reporting agencies or to the local authorities.

This document flies in the face of how most UFO proponents have always stated that the FAA discourages the reporting of UFOs, and that the agency seeks to cover up all UFO sightings.

John Callahan’s FAA “Cover-Up”

For example, in October of 2000, acting as one of the Witnesses in Stephen Greer’s “Disclosure Project”, a man by the name of John Callahan offered his own testimony concerning a UFO sighting that took place over the skies of Alaska.

According to Greer, Callahan was a Division Chief of Accidents and Investigations in the FAA for six years.

The story is now fairly well known within UFO circles – in 1986 a Japanese Airlines 747 flying over Alaska was allegedly followed by a UFO for about half an hour.

In his testimony, John stated that after the incident, there was a meeting with staff from the CIA, FBI and Reagan’s Scientific Study group. Callahan claimed that after reviewing the boxes of data, one of the CIA men stated that the meeting “never happened.”

“When they got done, they actually swore all these other guys in there that this never took place. We never had this meeting. And this was never recorded.”

Callahan didn’t stop there, he further stated that from his own personal experience, the FAA had a history of covering up such incidents when he stated:

“Well, I’ve been involved in a lot of cover-ups with the FAA. When we gave the presentation to the Reagan staff I was behind the group that was there. And when they were speaking to the people in the room, they had all those people swear that this never happened.”

Contradictory Witness Statements

At this point, Callahan’s credentials and story has never actually been independently confirmed. In fact, back in 2007, as we were attempting to verify his claims, we contacted CIA Science Analyst Ron Pandolfi. Ron admitted that both he and Maccabee had in fact attended an FAA meeting like the one Callahan described. However, he did not recall anyone making any statement that the meeting never happened, or that the data should be covered up.

Pandolfi stated, “I don’t recall trying to ‘keep the sighting hushed’ since it was already widely publicized.”

In fact Pandolfi turned over all the data to Maccabee to conduct a full investigation and report (which Maccabee published in 1987).

Pandolfi did say that he recalled John Callahan being present at the meeting, and that all discussion regarding “delaying dissemination of information” was between Bruce and Callahan. This implies, of course, that Callahan could have mistaken Maccabee for a “CIA guy,” when he was actually only there as a private contractor.

We contacted Maccabee and he also confirmed that he was at such a meeting and received all of the data for his analysis and report, but he also did not recall anyone at the meeting trying to cover it up.

We reported this contradiction to Leslie Kean of the Coalition for Freedom of Information – the only listed contact for Callahan – and she initially did not believe us. Therefore, I put her in direct contact with Pandolfi and Maccabee, who both told her exactly what they told us. Kean refused to let us speak directly with Callahan to resolve the discrepancy, and eventually refused to cooperate regarding getting any clarification from Callahan.

Leslie Kean Hits the Ufology Media Circuit

In fact, Kean completely ignored the contradictory witness statements that she received first-hand, and instead went on to publish a book in 2010 titled UFOs: Generals, Pilots and Government Officials Go On the Record, where she repeated Callahan’s testimony in full on page 222, and even focused on the “this never happened” statement.

She completely left out the fact that she had received direct testimony from both a CIA analyst and Bruce Maccabee, stating that they were at such a meeting that matched the meeting John described, and that no one said anything about covering-up.

Regardless of the reasons why Callahan made that statement, the fact that the data was immediately released to Maccabee to do a full public disclosure immediately following the event blows both Kean and Callahan’s claim of secrecy completely out of the water. And the fact that Kean ignored the contradictory evidence offered to her first-hand does the same to her journalistic integrity.

This latest FAA release provides a much clearer example of what the FAA really tells its staff – not what Ufologists would like you to believe. There is no vast conspiracy to cover up UFO sightings at the FAA. In fact, as you can see in this document, the FAA tells its staff to report all UFO sightings to the appropriate UFO organization, or in the case where life or property is threatened – to the local authorities.

The FootMan Marries the Princess of Kashmir

I realize the title sounds like the storyline of a fairy tale, but essentially this past weekend was the new phase of Pandolfi’s life, which he hopes will become his happily ever after. Why are we talking about a second marriage, when there are so many other issues and strange events ongoing?

I’ve decided to cover the story of this marriage, because I believe when you get down to the core of personalities, and understand both the motivations and perspectives of that individual – you can discern their agenda and the reasons for their actions, even if they refuse to tell you themselves.

The Royal FootMan, the Royal Scribe and the Princess

Late last week, during another late-night research session, I was pinged via Gtalk by Ron. I’ve become accustomed to this, as over time a week, a month or several months could pass until I’m presented with a chat request from the mysterious Mr. Pandolfi. Understanding how such communications with a CIA-associated personality can set any Ufologist as an outcast in this community – even among friends and colleagues – I’m always careful about these conversations. They are all recorded, so that no one can claim I did or said something that I didn’t.

This particular conversation was not a discussion starter – it was one line, followed by an email with an attachment.

“Please review and send back with any suggested changes.”

I checked my email and sitting there was a Word document titled as a “Scroll.” Ron had already explained to me a week earlier that during his upcoming wedding to a beautiful woman from Kashmir, he would be requesting that Dan Smith read the text of a scroll, while dressed in costume.

As a courtesy, and of course because I am in the running to become the “Royal Blogger,” willing to assist the Princess in gaining publicity for her effort related to the crisis in Kashmir – I took about 20 minutes to go through the text Ron had written, and did some editing. After a few punctuation corrections and word replacements, I forwarded the file back and wished Ron luck in his new marriage. His wedding was the very next day. Check out the final version of the scroll in PDF format.

True Love Strikes the Man of Shadows

Reading through the scroll text, I discovered the circumstances surrounding how Ron and his “Princess” met, their courtship and eventual decision to marry. There were two things that became clear as I was reading through this text (and when I learned he would be having Dan read it at the reception dressed like Robin Hood).

The first was that Ron has a strange and eccentric personality – of that there is absolutely no doubt. The second is that his new bride is either just as strange and eccentric, or she welcomes and embraces eccentricity.

I chatted with her briefly one night, and she came across as an intelligent, witty and very kind woman…more interested in helping the citizens of Kashmir than any of this Ufology stuff – however, she likes Dan and she appears to follow along with the storyline. How much more she knows about Ron and his past activities than the rest of us remains an unanswered question.

You get a sense for some of the background leading up to the marriage from the following paragraph.

“The Scribe acknowledges that the Kingdom is in disarray, that the Princess has been under siege of dark forces close to the King, that she and at times the King have been banished to a dark cave, that she has been bound, fingerprinted, and nearly jailed. Those dark times have come to pass. With this marriage, the Scribe also reveals that the Royal Footman is in fact the White Knight, come to free the Princess in order to restore and complete the white magic of the Kingdom.”

Manipulating Delusional Ufology Followers

The various small blogs and forums found throughout the Internet are often used as information warfare platforms between acting powers within the not-so-secret collection of individuals many know as the “Aviary” – some of whom we now call Scammer’s Inc. However, this particular diversion follows close on the heels of the tumbling of Gordon’s RAM project.

News has it that Gordon recently suffered from a heart attack and endured a triple bipass. We can only assume that he is still in recovery – and we hope for the best outcome for this colorful personality.

The real story here isn’t so much the wedding itself – the story is the relationship between popular figures within Ufology – like Dan Smith and Gordon Novel – and the folks in the shadows who do the manipulating and dissemination of information they want the public to see.

As you watch characters like Gordon Novel, Bob Collins, Laura “Eisenhower”, and Dan Smith distribute their stories and public pronouncements of the Alien presence, Alien abductions, Secret Mars Projects, Government secrecy and cover-up, and UFO artifacts offering humanity secret technologies – you must ask yourselves, where and why these delusions are being used and manipulated. To what end and for who’s ultimate agenda?

In examining the personalities of the manipulators, rather than the manipulated – the investigators at RU are inching ever closer to a dramatic conclusion that is best represented by my favorite T.S. Eliot poem, The Hollow Men.

This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
Not with a bang but a whimper.

My condolences to die-hard Ufology believers – you will be greatly disappointed. To the rest of you – you will likely nod, shake your head in disgust and think to yourselves, It’s what I suspected all along…

The Questions that Gordon Novel Won’t Answer

I sent the following email to Gordon Novel on February 5th, 2010. I’ve heard some rumors of grandstanding by Ed Komarek, a hard-core believer/Exopolitics type who doesn’t understand any of what’s going on – but has a strong desire for the limelight.

Of course, I’ve also heard about some random observations by Dan Smith – Ron’s go-to mouthpiece when he needs to distribute something quickly in order to distract the believers. But I’ve yet to hear another peep from Gordon Novel regarding the specific issues covered in these questions. The questions are fairly lengthy, so he could be working diligently on them. I was hoping to publish his answers to the following questions at least this week on RealityUncovered – but it looks like it may be next week.

The Feedback From Sending Out the Questions

The questions below created quite a ripple in the days after I sent them out. First, Gordon tacked on a long list of individuals who needed to approve the interview before he would answer them (for the record – Kit Green immediately emailed his approval).

The second thing that happened is that Ron immediately emailed me and scorned my “police interrogation-like interview approach.” He said that I should let Gordon define the relationship between himself and Gordon rather than my implying the relationship in the question. I responded that the email exchanges we have in hand stand as evidence to the true relationship.

Subsequently, Ron then attempted to distract and change the subject of this discussion in his follow-up conversations with Dan Smith, by sending Dan Smith on a wild goose chase regarding his new main squeeze from Kashmir who he now refers to as “princess.” Ron told Dan that I take the scams too seriously. Of course, to Ron, it’s all a joke.

The Standing Questions – Still Unanswered

Without further ado – here is the question list I sent to Gordon. Five days later, I’ve received nothing. Are we to assume no comment? The following is copyrighted RealityUncovered.net – if any of the information below is used or copied anywhere else, a link-back to this particular blog entry is required.

Subject: Interview Questions

Hi Gordon – here are the questions and topics that I was hoping to discuss with you on the phone in a recorded interview format. As you requested, I am sending them first to your son, Jim Marrs and Ron. I’ve also cc’d Steve as he is co-owner of RealityUncovered where we would like to publish this interview with you.

Here are the questions:

1. The FOIA CIA Security File on Gordon Novel

According to CIA Security Record number 104-10305-10000, throughout the years you repeatedly claimed affiliation with the CIA. On page 4 the CIA memo states:

“Sergeant Haas was advised that a Gordon Novel, believed to be identical to the Gordon Novel of interest to Fort Lauderdale’s Organized Crime Division, is not now nor has he ever been an employee or employed in any capacity with the CIA. The undersigned added that since the late 60’s, Gordon Novel has periodically claimed employment with the CIA.”

Question: Can you confirm or deny the statement on this CIA document that alleges that you’d been claiming CIA employment since the 60’s?

Page 7 of this official CIA file reads:

“Subject advised that he had an economic formula which would solve the world dollar dumping crisis – IR – 9 February 1973″

Question: Can you confirm or deny this claim?

Page 10 from the CIA file notes the following from 1980:

“…and in the ensuing conversation Novel indicated that he was involved in a ‘commercial venture’ and felt that the results might be of interest to “ONI”. He indicated, in essence, that his project involved outfitting a “fast patrol craft” with various means of testing defense systems (NFI).”

Question: Is it true that you approached ONI with such a commercial venture in 1980? Did ONI pursue it?

2. Kingdom’s Come Film Project

As late as 2008, you were working on funding a film project called “Kingdom’s Come.”

Question: What ever became of the project?

According to our sources, in 2008 you attempted to create a pitch for Dan Smith to give Jim Marrs a $6000 retainer in order to put together two powerpoint presentations – one for RAM (formerly RAAM) and one for Kingdom’s Come.

Question: Can you confirm or deny, and did Dan ever provide the money to Marrs?

Question: Did Jim Marrs ever put together the script for Kingdom’s Come?

4. RAM Conferences and Final Breakdown

Question: In 2008, is it true that you charged about $11,000 to your credit cards to put together the conference for SARA that year?

Question: When you requested Ron’s help with that debt, did he assist you or did he leave you hanging with that debt?

Question: Since Paul Murad and Morgan Boardman are now collaborating directly, and have bypassed you and RAM completely, do you have plans to pursue legal action against Murad for defaulting on the NDA that he signed with you?

Question: If so, is RAM (or your company that’s listed as a party on the NDA) an officially registered business name in the state where you live?

5. Ron Pandolfi’s Role

In 2006, you received an email that detailed some statements that Kit allegedly wrote disparaging comments about you and about RAM.  Subsequently, Ron convinced you that the note was likely faked by Majestic.

Question: Do you recall this event and those emails? Was that the first time that Ron has ever referred to “Majestic” or “Majic” as a real group in his communications with you?

You initially met Ron at a private dinner party where Dan Smith brought you along as an uninvited guest. Ron remained friends with you since then, yet you consistently refer to his relationship with you as being related in some way to his official work with CIA – such as in July of 2009 when you wrote the following to Morgan Boardman:

“RAM is to me in great measure an official U.S.Intelligence business.”

Question:Has Ron ever presented his relationship with you in any way as part of his official CIA business? If so, could you share the email or document where he did so?

In July of 2009, I was aware of some strange answers Ron provided to some folks who were asking him if Ron officially supported you. I thought his answers were rather odd, and when I asked him why he didn’t just flat out tell the truth, Ron Pandolfi answered as follows (source email available upon request):

“You can tell Steve that when anyone asks about Gordon I give them a straight enough response, that is straight enough if they are somewhat in contact with reality.  Otherwise nothing I might say would help.  I am also straight with Gordon.  But frankly the idea of a guy running around the country saying he has the backing of CIA to reverse engineer a UFO using parts from old cars and junk electrical circuits is really funny!”

Question: In your recent email to me, you wrote, “RP should still be willing to confirm that I am no one’s fool including his.”  Given Ron’s statement above, would you like to make a public response to him?

6. Hal Puthoff’s Role

In 2007, Ron Pandolfi made a statement via email regarding Hal’s involvement in Baker’s “Gravity Wave” research. In an email response, Hal denied involvement, and downplayed his interest and involvement with you (and with RAM) in comparison when he wrote:

“Yes, Eric is listed on Bob Baker’s website as being part of the “Grav Wave Team,” but it’s just like I’m listed as being Gordon Novel’s chief scientist because I answer questions when he calls me (my answers not usually to his liking, I might add!).”

Yet – in your recent report, you clearly detail how involved Hal actually was in communicating with you regarding RAM:

Page 20: “Hal Puthoff, whose intellect is truly without peer, once let me read a deep black unpublished paper of his that explained how he thought the zero-point field (ZPF) caused gravity.”
Page 68: “…it is possible to have fluctuations beyond unity in which the Second Law is violated, or so I am told by Hal.”
Page 90: “…Were it not for being privileged to know the good Doctor (Puthoff) and his wonderful family, I seriously doubt that I would have continued my high interest in the ARV/UFO matter, much less be writing this case treatise for his critical scrutiny.”
Page 90: “A paper Dr. Puthoff furnished me when we met is extremely relevant to the How-To function of the ARV system.”
Page 143: “About that same time (1995), Hal Puthoff sent me a very informative paper in response to my query on the rest mass voltage…”
Page 179: “…as Dr. Puthoff will confirm from discussions we had in 1994 and some CAD/CAM graphics that I sent him in 1995.”
Page 230: “Further, the statements of UFO contactees and abductees, the crash report of Rennie Beicker (according to Hal Puthoff)…”

Question: Your descriptions seem to extend beyond Hal’s description of simple phone calls. Could you offer your response to Hal’s statement above to Ron, downplaying his involvement with you regarding RAM?

Those are all of the non-engineering questions, but I suppose that’s more than enough for now, for an interesting recorded interview that covers all of the major points. Let me know when you’re ready.

Thanks Gordon,
-Ryan

The Open Minds Forum and Gordon Novel CIA Documents

open minds forum

Are you looking for the Open Minds Forum and the Gordon Novel CIA documents mentioned by George Knapp on Coast to Coast AM on January 17th, 2010? Well, you’ve come to the right place! You’ll find it all here.

As I was listening to Coast to Coast AM last night, when George Knapp was interviewing Gordon Novel from about 1am to 3am, I noticed at one point George mentioned the intriguing Gordon Novel CIA documents that we originally wrote about here at RealityUncovered on October 27th of last year.

I was very surprised to hear George mention these documents – because not only were they brought to light by one of our sources and originally noted here at RealityUncovered and recently on Jack Sarfatti’s email list, but also because those documents revealed that not only did Gordon Novel not ever have any affiliation with the CIA, but the CIA was actively trying to figure out why this convicted arsonist kept telling people that he was working with or for the agency.

What Does Open Minds Forum Have to do With the Gordon Novel CIA Documents?

My surprise was mostly due to the fact that I was doubting all week whether George would take Gordon Novel to task for what the facts on these documents reveals – that Gordon Novel was attempting to pawn his various technology schemes not only upon individual investors, but even upon the U.S. government. When Knapp mentioned the documents, my heart raced – was our source listening, the man who originally discovered the repository of online documents where these Gordon Novel CIA documents resided?

Only a small part of me was somewhat interested to hear how George would refer to the documents, which Jack Sarfatti had been mentioning all week as he forwarded our original Gordon Novel expose to his entire list, noting how RealityUncovered had revealed this amazing library of Gordon Novel CIA documents. Surely Knapp would at least briefly mention the RealityUncovered Gordon Novel expose that Jack forwarded, and ask Novel to respond?

George Knapp’s Strange Promotional Decisions

open minds forum

Earlier in the show, Knapp promoted Gary Bekkum as a good source to learn more about Ron Pandolfi. I blinked a couple of times at that…I could think of hundreds of better resources – but I digress. Bekkum and I have resolved our differences regarding evidence and not jumping to conclusions in published articles, and ultimately Gary does work very hard to uncover the truth, however he sees it. Ultimately, Gary really has published more online about Ron Pandolfi (especially in various code-named forms) than most anyone else online.

However, what came next was rather shocking. George Knapp mentioned the CIA documents again, and stated they came from the Open Minds Forum. I blinked a couple of times. Say what?

I immediately emailed Sarfatti, cc’d Steve and George Knapp, and mentioned the strange choice of promotion – why would Knapp mention the OM Forum in relation to these documents? An obscure website that had no content published about these topics until we originally published our findings on Gordon Novel in October of last year.

George immediately responded with an apology for the slip-up and immediately fixed the error on-the-air. Apparently he was monitoring email traffic during the show, and his sincere response told me that his slip-up had nothing to do with more sinister motives – for some reason he had been misinformed or just didn’t dig very deeply into these matters.

After sleeping on it, this morning as I was snowblowing my driveway (a time when I really have some major deep thoughts), I realized what must have happened. Unlike the OM Forum, the first priority of investigators here at RealityUncovered is to make sure that the truth is revealed. Self-promotion doesn’t really make the top-ten – we just want the real story published and out there. But I have a suspicion as to what happened last week when Knapp first announced his show.

The Open Minds Forum PR Effort

For those of you who don’t know, the Open Minds Forum is a very small conspiracy theory forum. It originated as one guy’s website covering the topic of psychic phenomenon, but grew a little after the whole Serpo affair left AboveTopSecret and the believers (and quite a few nutjobs) needed a new home. In fact, it was the new home for Steve and I for a while, until we realized that the truth could not be uncovered there, because there’s no one actively researching the truth – they simply regurgitate information that they find elsewhere on the web, as happened in this case.

The sad part of this episode is that after Knapp announced his interview with Gordon Novel, I suspect Gary Bekkum and the Open Minds Forum jumped into high gear with their self-promotions…forwarding Knapp various links from their own websites.

Meanwhile, not thinking about self-promotion but making sure Knapp truly dug into Gordon Novel’s background so that he’d ask the hard questions, I told Knapp as much – to his displeasure, obviously. Never, once, did I think of simply self-promoting by sending him links from our own website.

So, for those of you who heard the show and are looking for the OM Forum link to the CIA Gordon Novel documents, you’ve come to the right place – because they’re actually right here at RealityUncovered. And you can discuss this entire matter in all of its great drama at our Forums…we look forward to seeing you there. It is one place where you can be sure to cut through the b.s. and learn the truth.

We will have a full review of the interview, and our response to a few of Gordon Novel’s statements, in an upcoming article this week.

Who Exactly Is Gordon Novel and What is RAM?

gnovelOver the past few years, the topic of Gordon Novel has come up surrounding the question of alleged government involvement in the field of Ufology. The question of government involvement usually focuses on the two issues of sociological study and/or the monitoring of advanced technological advancements. For anyone who has had any insight into the real man named Gordon Novel – neither subjects immediately come to mind. As of a few years ago, his name was never associated with Ufology either. The JFK assassination? Yes. UFOs? No. So why now? First, a little history.

The JFK Madness and Gordon’s Part

Instead of detailing the sordid past – there’s more than enough material on the web covering this aspect of Gordon’s activities – I’m going to quote from one of the best sources for learning about Gordon’s JFK association. That is an article titled, “Gordon Novel: CIA Agent or Con Artist?” by Dave Reitzes. If you’re curious about the accuracy of what Dave has written – just review the first part of that page where Gordon Novel has repeatedly threatened Dave to take down the page. Obviously there’s something there Gordon doesn’t want people to know.

Here’s a repost of some assorted notes on Novel, beginning with the subject that brought Novel his original notoriety — his claim that a munitions burglary he participated in had actually been a CIA operation.

This is, in fact, what lies at the heart of Gordon’s alleged JFK investigation involvement.

Contrary to later claims by participant Gordon Novel (a self-proclaimed electronics expert who was working with Garrison until Garrison decided that Novel’s associations were suspicious and subpoenaed him as a witness, whereupon Novel left the state), the heist appears to have been, in fact, a simple burglary, not the CIA “weapons transfer” alleged in many conspiracy books (cf. New Orleans States-Item, May 25, 1967; Grand Jury transcript of Rancier Blaise Ehlinger, March 30, 1967). Nevertheless, even Gus Russo reports the incident as a CIA weapons transfer (Russo, Live by the Sword [Baltimore: Bancroft, 1998], pp. 150-53).

This is only partially true – a few years ago I spoke with Gus on the phone when he was working on an article covering alleged CIA Ufology involvement for Dan Smith. During that phone conversation, he mentioned his past investigation and work on the JFK assassination, so I asked him for his opinion about Gordon Novel, because for a few years RU investigations have seen him poking his head around the fringes of the Ufology crowd. Russo’s opinion of him was swift and clear, he essentially reported that Gordon was pretty much just a phony.

The oddest part of the Dave Reitzes piece is that Gordon wrote to Dave denying his CIA claims, even though they are well documented in Dave’s article, throughout the Internet as well as throughout the many mailing lists that Gordon currently uses to distribute his “RAM” promotional diatribes. With that said – there are a number of scientists that do support and promote Gordon – we’ll get to them in future posts.

According to one account by Gordon Novel, “It was one of the most patriotic burglaries ever committed . . . the CIA virtually gave us the key to the bunker . . . my fellow burglar, Arcacha Smith, and I are still employed by the CIA” (A. J. Weberman Web site, Nodule 21).

RU investigators have been privy to Gordon’s claims in our own investigation of the “RAM Project,” an odd assortment of fringe scientists who have been collaborating with Gordon for years in attempting to extract risk capital investments from wealthy investors. What’s the project? It’s a reverse-engineering effort to, put simply, reverse-engineer a UFO “craft” using the most “advanced” propulsion technology available to mankind.

The fact that the alleged propulsion technology proposed by these scientists currently can’t even lift a balloon into the sky, let alone a heavy craft, completely flies over the head of many investors. They have more money than they know what to do with (they really don’t care if they lose it – that’s the nature of risk capital), and not enough brains to differentiate between fact and fiction. As long as there’s a possibility that such technology could exist at some point makes some of them open up their pocketbooks to the snake oil salesmen.

We’ve also seen the claims Gordon has made in emails to potential investors – claims related to his alleged connection with CIA as late as July 2009. These claims stem from his contacts with the elusive and mysterious “RP.”

When potential investors confront “RP” directly about such claims, he will often write an obscure diatribe that hints at a deeper meaning – a metaphorical collection of words and potential clues. “Believer” investors think he’s hinting at authentic CIA involvement. RP bcc’s these emails to friends that he considers as “sane” as though it’s a joke. I asked him once how he can find a $200 million scam funny. His response was, “Because I know the $200 million scam will only turn into a $200 fraud.” The man has a strange, sick sense of humor. Is it possible it’s because he was slapped on the wrist and placed in the “back room” (weird-desk) after his episode in the Hughes/China fiasco in the late 1990s and he needed something to occupy his active mind and his private time? Maybe. One thing we do know is that he uses Gordon in the same way he uses Dan Smith.

Gordon Novel’s CIA Involvement

Imagine it’s 1998, and word gets back to the CIA that someone out there is claiming to be a CIA operative as part of the JFK assassination conspiracy madness.

The CIA Office of Security conducts a brief investigation, and as a result we have this declassified documentation – an internal memo/documentation contained in CIA security file record number: 104-10305-10000. Page four of the file states:

“Sergeant Haas was advised that a Gordon Novel, believed to be identical to the Gordon Novel of interest to Fort Lauderdale’s Organized Crime Division, is not now nor has he ever been an employee or employed in any capacity with the CIA. The undersigned added that since the late 60’s, Gordon Novel has periodically claimed employment with the CIA.”

Why was Gordon claiming CIA connections? The page 5 incident report lays it out nicely:

He is claiming to be affiliated with the Agency and under this guise has approached several companies specializing in electronic surveillance. It is for this reason that caller wishes to verify SUBJECT’s employment.

Another clue, from page 7:

Subject advised that he had an economic formula which would solve the world dollar dumping crisis – IR – 9 February 1973

Another clue, from page 10, dated 1980:

…and in the ensuing conversation Novel indicated that he was involved in a “commercial venture” and felt that the results might be of interest to “ONI”. He indicated, in essence, that his project involved outfitting a “fast patrol craft” with various means of testing defense systems (NFI).

In the conversation above, Gordon claimed, once again, an affiliation with the CIA. Page 16 reads:

Mr. Jameson also requested traces on two individuals who are alleged to have been involved in this matter — Larry Blanscett and Bridget Pfiffer. He was advised that the Office of Security had no record of either of these individuals.

Now – while it’s clear that this particular individual has a long history of attempting to “sell” his commercial ventures, what’s a little bit strange is the question of whether he works alone. The introduction of the two individuals above suggests one of two things. It may be possible that Gordon Novel was working alone and invented those identities of his own accord. However, it might also be possible that there are others, either faking Intel involvement, or misrepresenting their actual Intel status and position, in order to manipulate and use this figure from the organized crime community. While the knee-jerk reaction is to suggest that this is an official, covert action of a U.S. Intelligence agency – a more likely possibility is that it is part of an organized, private effort that actively exploits such “believers” for their own financial purposes.

Gary Bekkum and Serpo: A Drama Queen Cannot Exist Without an Audience

binocularsTry as I might, I can never seem to get Gary Bekkum and his overdramatic boy-spy blog out of my life.  Just when we, at RU, think that he’ll be content publishing the same old baseless government conspiracy theories over and over – he throws a real doozy out there…a major faux pas manipulation of the truth that simply can’t go unfixed. As an organization that prides itself upon a “passion for truth,” such an outright abortion of the truth can’t go unanswered. What is this terrible thing? It’s a recent article Gary published at the American Chronicle, a cheesy small online publication that publishes user content from anyone who’s willing to write an article for free for them. In Gary’s recent article titled, “Spy Games Revealed: Spies, Lies and Polygraph Tape,” Gary weaves a very odd web – quoting out-of-context snippets from select email conversations between two friends who happen to be either current or former U.S. intelligence employees.

In this long, volumous article, Gary attempts to paint scammer Rick Doty as a “spy” of sorts – simply a scape goat as part of some sweeping government cover-up operation. The tale he paints is certainly dramatic (he is a drama-queen after all), intriguing, and unfortunately overwhelmingly baseless speculation that turns out to be nowhere near the target.

There are a few things people should know about the incident Gary refers to, where Ron and Green appear to be discussing the “SERPO” hoax.  The facts are as follows.

– Ron Pandolfi did not volunteer his time or attention to the hoax – he was contacted and drawn into it (possibly intentionally) by Dr. Green.

– Ron conducted an unofficial, brief query regarding a few alleged DIA names that Dr. Green told Ron Pandolfi might be relevant and important.

– In the course of trying to ascertain where these names Dr. Green received came from, Ron Pandolfi interviewed Rick Doty via email.

– All of the above activities were done out of a personal, private request from his friend Kit Green – otherwise Pandolfi would have had no interest in this drama

Why did Kit draw his friend Ron into the drama? Your guess is as good as ours – although it could have something to do with the fact that those who were creating and pushing the Alien stories known as “Serpo” were making every attempt possible to make it appear as though the sources “comfirming” the story were official and legitimate.  In his usual tell-only-half-the-story manipulation, Gary Bekkum finishes his article with the following quote:

kit“I need you to know that Col. Weaver has contacted me and said he is Gene Loscowski. Her [sic] referred in detail to the meeting you and I had with Barry Hennessey about Rick’s polygraph records … He quoted what I said, what you did, and the circumstances of the meeting to convince me of who he was. He also told me the essence of the SERPO story was true.”

Everyone reading this article should pause at this point.  Consider what Gary Bekkum is attempting to do…add legitimacy and relevance to the old “Serpo” releases and the sources behind them. Why would someone want to do such a thing – especially after so many of the sources have already been revealed as nothing more than sock puppets for a small group of men who have absolutely no official clearances for this sort of information? Rick Doty…Ernie Kellerstrass…seriously, folks.

To provide readers with the rest of the story, RU will provide Ron’s response to Kit’s claim above, which Gary quoted in his article completely out-of-context.  As you are reading this full quote (we’ve neither redacted nor modified any part of this), please make note that Ron is responding to claims about DIA/visitors from Kit – no one else. It should also be noted that the claimed “Col Weaver” contact was via email, and Kit had not confirmed that the sender was really who he claimed to be.

Kit explains to Ron how these “contacts” related to Serpo typically work:

“I suspect more details are not worthy of email. That said: 100% of all communications have been by email. I have no actual human contact whatsoever…they didn’t show up, ever, for the pre-arranged meetings…not one person: Gene, Paul, Herb, Smith, Joseph, Lackey.

I have erased all the emails…every one. However, I suspect there must be a way to retrieve them from my hard drive or the University Server. if someone knows how to do that, with proper identification, they are welcome to sit in my office and get them. The FBI wasn’t the least bit interested…but then, they never are.

The following was one of Ron’s responses to the strange story that Kit was telling him (Ron also confused “Gene” as a woman – the source is actually portrayed as a man…inconsequential of course because Gene isn’t really “Gene” in the first place):

Subject: RE: PRIVATE: Search For Two DIA Sources

Kit,

I was not with you during the meeting you had with Barry Hennessey about Rick’s polygraph records. The meeting you and I participated in included Barry Hennessey, Col. Weaver, and the CIA CI Director and did not involve any discussion of Rick’s polygraph records. So the quote from Ms. Loscowski regarding what I did and the circumstances of the meeting could not have been correct. More likely the person who claimed to be Ms. Loscowski described what she had read on the Internet concerning the fabricated story that you and I had met with Barry Hennessy to discuss Rick’s polygraph records. Therefore the lady who contacted you most likely was not Col.
Weaver.

Your expansion of the story of the two DIA employees visiting LANL and being known to others has me concerned. The names you provided do not correspond to any DIA employees. There are no people with those names that have TS//SCI clearances. If the story of the sources/visitors is true, they are falsely representing themselves as DIA employees, possibly to access sensitive facilities and acquire classified information for a foreign service.

I am nearly certain that Rick fabricated this entire story, and that he is Mr. Anonymous, Ms. Loscowski, and the two DIA sources/visitors. If so, Rick may just be having a good time, and we need not be concerned for national security. If not, there may actually be a network of foreign agents penetrating some of our most sensitive facilities under the false flag of a DIA operation. Therefore please be very clear in describing the form of communications you had with Ms. Loscowski (e.g. phone, e-mail, etc.); how you acquired the additional background concerning the DIA sources visitors; and what you know of about the many people who know them.

Ron

**

Not very long ago, Ron was kind enough to offer RU investigators a short briefing about the entire episode that transpired between he and Kit, and how Kit’s claims, in particular about Dearlove’s reactions to the alleged DIA names, caused Ron a lot of personal embarassment when he attempted to follow-up the story Kit was claiming with officials within the Agency. In the end, the DIA names turned out all completely fabricated, save for one – a DIA clerk without security clearances but who’d just started her job. Somehow, the scammers had obtained her name from a directory or other source, and started using it as a “DIA contact” – that person’s name was Tamara Linden. In fact, the scammers continue using a Tamara Linden email address today, as well as the Gene and Paul accounts – all fraudulent email accounts using fake or borrowed names. Not a single legitimate DIA source exists, nor does a single ounce of government interest exist in “SERPO,” to support the strange, delusional tales that Gary Bekkum weaves with each article he writes.

And now you know the rest of the story.

Bruce Maccabee Glimpses Behind the Curtain

Bruce Maccabee

Weird and wild things have certainly been going on in the skies and space around the planet earth.  Throughout the history of the human race, strange celestial events have captured and mesmerized the beings called Earthlings who live on this little blue marble, hurtling through space.

These sightings are nothing new.  In fact, you can find reference to odd sightings in the sky all the way back to earliest recorded history.  For America, there was some fascination regarding objects in the sky with the foo-fighters that American pilots spotted over the skies of Germany throughout the 1940s.  As military aircraft advanced and more classified flight testing started taking place over the skies of America, an entire subculture started to form – filled with enthusiasts, hobbyists, sky-watchers and researchers who were mesmerized by the odd crafts and other objects occasionally spotted in the skies above them.

Ufologists have written volumes on the activities of the Air Force throughout the 1950s and beyond, with the opening and closing of Project Blue Book, the controversy of the Condon Report, and the many other insanities and confusion that litters Ufological history like battered bodies on a battlefield.  In many ways, it was a virtual war between civilian researchers who wanted answers, and a military that refused to talk about the subject – or when it did, answers were unsatisfactory, patronizing, and at times ridiculous.

In this update, we will focus on one particular soldier, of sorts, and one specific battle within a much larger and broad Ufology war.  This small skirmish provides tremendous clues regarding what came next, and subsequent events over the remaining 30+ years.

Regular UFO Private Gets a Promotion

For those who don’t know Bruce Maccabee, or his background within Ufology, click this link for a brief overview.  During the particular moment in time examined in this article, Bruce Maccabee was hard at work investigating one of the latest breaking reports of UFO sightings in New Zealand.

New Zealand 1978 UFO

New Zealand 1978 UFO

These UFO sightings were no different than many others before or after, except for the fact that so much was captured on videotape, because an actual news crew was present for the sighting.  According to Maccabee’s report on the sighting, reporter Quentin Fogarty, from a TV station in Melbourne, Australia, was traveling with his film crew to obtain some news story film footage about a previous sighting from just two weeks earlier – just off the coast of New Zealand.

Ironically, the most amazing footage of a UFO sighting came from a film crew that had the intention to learn more about the previous sighting – they never thought they would see anything spectacular themselves.

The three-man news team spotted the strange object with flashing lights around 2:45 and 2:55 in the morning, while on the airplane headed toward New Zealand.  The pilot and copilot were also witness to the strange craft.  Additionally, the Wellington Air Traffic Control radar captured and recorded the radar target where the visual sighting took place.  Geoffrey Causer was the air traffic controller who witnessed the radar detection.

Upon landing – these second sightings went public on the Australian TV station, and hit the news media worldwide.  In 1979, Bruce Maccabee traveled to New Zealand to investigate.  Upon returning, Maccabee used his Navy contacts to obtain audience with the CIA.

According to the “Associated Investigators Group,” their report regarding Maccabee’s activities during that time states:

“Maccabee first approached the CIA in early 1979 after traveling to New Zealand to investigate the filming of an alleged ‘UFO’ from a plane by a television crew. Although most people who viewed the film were unimpressed by the jumpy blob of nocturnal light, Maccabee for unclear reasons decided the film represented some sort of probative evidence of UFOs and set out to bring it to the attention of CIA officials. He then put out feelers through his contacts with companies performing tasks for the CIA, and later a meeting was set up at CIA Headquarters, during which he screened the film and summarized his analysis of it.”

Bruce Maccabee and Dr. Christopher “Kit” Green Meet for the First Time

It was at that meeting, in 1979, where Maccabee provided a full briefing for the CIA regarding the strange lights, that Maccabee reported Dr. Kit Green pulled him aside after the video and introduced himself as the custodian of the CIA’s UFO files.

With a tendency to make exaggerated, sweeping statements without additional explanation, Dr. Green told Bruce that those files consisted of about 15,000 UFO related documents, of which “only two or three thousand were really interesting.”  This off-the-cuff comment would come back to bite Dr. Green, as the CIA Freedom of Information Staff were busy responding to a FOIA suit that researcher Tod Zechel of the CAUS had filed.  CAUS researchers, after hearing about this comment from Bruce, were furious that Dr. Green hadn’t provided all of the “15,000” UFO documents.  The fact that any documents, at all, were lacking angered researchers who suspected the CIA was trying to “cover up” UFO secrets.

In 2006, Dr. Green reported to Reality Uncovered researchers that the majority of the documents were nothing more than garbage – like newspaper or magazine clippings some UFO nut had sent in as a “UFO report.”  In other cases they were useless data from the Foreign Broadcast Services.

Ufology Integrates with Parapsychology

Bruce MaccabeeIn an interview published in the article “The UFO/FBI Connection,” Maccabee makes reference to this meeting with Kit Green, in 1979, when he states, “…what it amounted to was that I gave them a lot of information and they gave me nothing.”

Later in the above interview, Maccabee makes note of the odd correlation that was taking place within the community of government researchers and scientists who were following various paranormal phenomenon when he comments on their strange overlapping interests into the UFO phenomenon and parapsychology.

“The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) was also involved in funding remote viewing.  There was an intersection between remote viewing and UFO’s…  [snip] …And Ingo drew a UFO behind a submarine in one of his remote viewings.  That’s the kind of intersection I’m talking about.”

Click here for more information about Ingo’s drawing of a UFO.

Since 1995, the American Public has been aware of the remote viewing research where the government contracted out parapsychology research at SRI, directed by Hal Puthoff.  As reported here, in 1979, the CIA was already neck deep in “weird” research regarding parapsychology.  According to Maccabee, the potential reality of psychic functioning was triggering a domino effect throughout government research communities who were already developing a belief in metal bending, psychokinesis, and remote viewing.  Maccabee continues:

“When I talked with Kit Green in 1979, he was aware of all this, too, but he wouldn’t tell me anything.  He would only suck up information from me regarding the UFO aspect.  But there was this intersection point where psychics started zeroing in on UFOs and the people in the paranormal side were saying, ‘This can’t be. UFO’s aren’t real.’  So they had to start investigating what was going on in the UFO community.”

The Ripple Effect Among “Believer” Government Scientists

Up until 1979, Kit Green was one of the CIA officials tasked with monitoring and reporting on SRI remote viewing research.  By this point, Hal Puthoff and Kit Green were not only colleagues in research, but were already friends.  This was also the year that tasking and funding for Remote Viewing research transitioned to the DIA and widened in scope as one source (among many) of “intelligence data collection.”

However, what Maccabee’s experience in dealing with the CIA during this time tells us is that the folks who were already interested in parapsychology at this time, were suddenly turning toward Ufology as an additional subject of research and study.

It’s important to note that, up until this point, Roswell was very low on the scale of interest for UFO researchers.  Many people interested in the UFO sightings of the time, had little interest in events that took place at Roswell many years before.

CIA Reviews The New MJ-12 Revelations

MJ12 DocumentBefore leaving the subject of Bruce Maccabee, there is one minor additional issue to note.  According to the AIG report on Maccabee’s CIA interactions, Maccabee admitted that, in the mid 1980’s, he attended one “standing room only” meeting in a CIA conference room in which he was asked to brief CIA personnel on the “MJ-12” group that was detailed in the documents revealed by researcher and author William “Bill” Moore.

According to the AIG report, Maccabee admitted that after the conference, Ron Pandolfi, the CIA official who had replaced Kit Green at the agency, told Maccabee that the MJ-12 briefing triggered an aftermath of CIA officers snooping on each other to determine whether any of the current staff were members of the “fabled UFO control group.”

Of note here is the fact that the topic of discussion for Ufologists, in 1979, were UFO sightings and researching the source of these odd objects in the skies.  Subsequent to 1979, and throughout the next three decades, documents started getting “leaked” that outlined a conspiracy and a core story, the likes of which no Ufologist could have ever predicted or expected.

Since then, many of those documents have been revealed as obvious hoaxes, including by the FBI.  More recent attempts, as late as 2005, to distribute the same story via email and by website in the form of the “Serpo” story, were also exposed as coming from Rick Doty, the same person exposed earlier as the distributor many of the earlier MJ-12 documents.  Regardless of the fact that some MJ-12 documents have been discredited as hoaxed, many Ufologists continue to believe that there’s at least an ounce of truth buried in those documents.

The difference in the 2005 case, however, is that this time Dr. Christopher Green and Harold Puthoff were clearly proven as being closely involved with the individuals who were releasing that story to the public.  Bob Collins book “Exempt From Disclosure,” also reveals their involvement during the 1980’s distribution of the MJ-12 documents.  Statements from Ron Pandolfi also confirm that involvement throughout the 80’s and today.

Upcoming reports will outline the nature and process of those releases starting in the late 1970s, as well as the purpose and meaning behind what is now known as the “Core Story.”

I Still Haven’t Found What I’m looking For

The following email quote makes it a hat-trick of quotes for CoR25 tonight.

The damage inflicted on the R&D show is impossible to calculate at the moment, but it appears extensive.

The information below presents an intriguing view of what’s what, for those that like to read between the lines that is. I have to say though, you don’t have to try too hard this time…!

A great mistake is made in trying to sell a song that has been played so much before. Even a new artist can sell it.And…as an ex disk-jockey for three radio stations, WSAU, WRNU, and especially the top -40 WRIG…I can tell you that it will be really tough getting the song “Disclosure begi-i-i-i-i-i-i-ins Toni-i-i-i-i-ii-te” to get even to number 150 to get reviewed…when the jocks tumble to the fact that the melody is endless, they have heard many vesrions of the same song for 10 years, and that the electric guitar riffs drown-out the words…and…there…just…is…no Coda.

Alas and alak: they just won’t play it…and Apple won’t even upload it to their site for free downloads to I-Pods.
We got no composer. We only got a guy who thinks he can play guitar. And the lyricist…hides out refusing to write a word.

Someone needs to write a new song…and then write the right lyrics.

What we got was a Milli Vanilli tribute band when what was needed was something along the lines of U2. Those that can’t sing are always found out in the end…

And the beat………..stopped.

Cheers,
Zep

The Sky Fell

The following email is in response to Ryan D’s Update post below and is from the source identified by Dan Smith as “CoR25″.

Ryan listed a number of hypothetical situations, all of which would indeed be deemed newsworthy *if* CoR25 could or would confirm any of them.

The following response is published with the kind permission of CoR25:

Ryan is correct, as is often the case.
I also have it on pretty good authority that CoR25 would absolutely refuse to merely repeat what he has HEARD only from Dan, or read on his Blog, or in other person’s email, never RP (Although CoR25 has been accused fairly of being a gossip…this is getting a little silly…Ryan’s characterization “stupid” may be more accurate:

“RP talks to Dan extensively about eschatology and issues related to ufology – and supports and encourages Dan positively in his online Blog statements related to eschatology, ufology, and related phenomenology.
Furthermore – RP submits correspondence to Dan on various ufology issues in a supportive role, including controversial issues such as supporting Gordon Novel’s RAM project both on the Blog and monetarily (encouraging Dan to invest a few thousand dollars in Gordon’s project), investigating Rick Doty’s involvement in Serpo, and all of the other issues discussed on Dan’s Blog. RP has had Dan meet with officials, members of Congress, and even foreign delegates.
These activities appear, at least, to represent official, not personal, investment and interest in Dan Smith – a controversial figure in Eschatology, Ufology, and Phenomenology who RP has reportedly called insane and ‘sick’.”

CoR25 agrees totally with Ryan…the ABOVE statement may be deemed newsworthy by bloggers and web-sites…but since not a single statement in Ryan’s good hypothetical statement has CoR25 ever heard from RP…not one of …Ryan’s presumptions of the lack of interesting material in fact, is true.
CoR25

It would appear all outstanding questions have now been answered, have they not?
Actually there is more…

Caryn Anscomb also posted an email to Dan that went to a number of recipients. CoR25, who appears in a very talkative mood this evening, responded thusly:

I would like to associate myself 100% with Caryn’s comments, and analysis.

I suspect CoR25 is alternatively becoming amused and incensed that rather than any hope of a rational explanation of “why” the R&D show being (Yawn) stated for the umpteenth time as an accident of frienship is news-worthy…he (and others are instead being increasingly played for a fool, or at a game so ill-defined as to be a Serponian Stick-ball substitute of Rugby. Naturally…just keeping people talking non-specificially is a great definition of true Narcissicism.

I really must try and find CoR25 to see if he sees anything valueable in any of this…absent any communication from the sentinal communicant…RP. CoR25 seems to have disappeared after reading the comments today.

I think CoR25 has been thunderstruck with the very thought Caryn raised…a very important hypothesis…that someone quite nasty is playing a “Bennewicz (sp) card.” If that turns out to be the case, CoR25 will himself turn really quite nasty himself and several friendships will have been abrogated and ended due to what he would consider abject betrayal of all that is reasonable and decent. The Quest will have turned to a Farce.

Where do we go from here? Is the sky still in the same place or did it just come crashing down all around us? I suspect the next few days will provide more enlightenment…

The Sky is Falling

The moment we have all been waiting for has finally arrived, apparently. Disclosure is upon us and officially started early this morning at 00:15 GMT.

A number of us “RU’ers” were discussing the fact that things had been relatively quiet lately, when out of the tedium popped a messenger of Dan Smith, with news of something big!
Sure enough, not long after this Dan himself contacted myself and RU co-owner Ryan D wanting to discuss the impending events. Not long after this, the following appeared on Dan’s blog:

There has been a conversation with CoR25. There was a discussion as to whether this conversation might constitute a news story. The correspondent said he would be surprised if it did rise to that level.
CoR25 said that he will confirm to whomever that there have been extensive communications between me and RP over a number of years, and that RP is well aware of my bias toward eschatology of the traditional kind.
I have had discussions with OM and RU, and they are prepared to make the case that a confirmable R&D show should rise to the level of legitimate news. Well, OM is so prepared. We’ll have to see about RU. They are welcome to call CoR25.
CoR25 was surprised that the R&D show had not already been publicly confirmed. I contended that it had not been so confirmed, and he readily consented to be the official confirmer of the R&D show.
Any questions?
I then called RP. He did not indicate that he had any problem with this ‘small’ additional step. I don’t recall that we discussed whether this should rise to the level of a legitimate news story.

Source

As you can see from the above, Dan and others are of the opinion that a “confirmable R&D show” is legitimate news. As mentioned at the top of this post, Ryan and I had a brief Skype chat with Dan last night, amid a flurry of online activity by several individuals with close ties to the people and personalities involved. Caryn Anscomb immediately attempted to confirm what was being said by going straight to the source that Dan was using. We quickly realised not all was as it seemed.

The following is the chat transcript (copied with the permission of all participants), Caryn’s comments follow further down.

[00:15:15] Dan Smith says: disclosure starts tonight???
[00:15:21] Zep Tepi says: do tell
[00:15:26] Ryan says: well i’d call that excellent news…
[00:15:45] Dan Smith says: well, I’m supposed to blog it soon…
(Despite our requests, we never did learn who told him to blog this latest “news”)
[00:16:02] Ryan says: to what degree will CoR25 confirm?
[00:16:12] Dan Smith says: I want to run it by you all…
[00:16:18] Ryan says: ok
[00:16:21] Zep Tepi says: ok
[00:16:26] Dan Smith says: CoR25 will confirm to whomever…
[00:16:43] Dan Smith says: Sharon Weinberger???
[00:16:47] Zep Tepi says: what will he confirm?
[00:16:50] Zep Tepi says: Yes I know her
[00:16:50] Ryan says: right – confirm what? only that RP talks to you…or confirm that RP supports what you say
[00:17:14] Dan Smith says: no only talks…
[00:17:30] Dan Smith says: is that not newsworthy??
[00:17:34] Zep Tepi says: we know that already?
[00:17:43] Ryan says: not really newsworthy…that’s more than public
[00:17:50] Ryan says: sorry…shoot
[00:17:52] Dan Smith says: you know it, but Sharon does not….
[00:18:06] Zep Tepi says: maybe Sharon does not care?
[00:18:25] Ryan says: i’d be interested in her take…i hope she doesn’t just blow it off as unimportant
[00:18:30] Dan Smith says: well, that’s what we need to find out???
[00:18:52] Ryan says: it’s not as great as if CoR25 would say that RP encourages you to post what you post
[00:18:54] Ryan says: but it’s a start i guess
[00:18:56] Dan Smith says: next step…no?
[00:19:03] Ryan says: seems rather weak of CoR25, don’t you think?
[00:19:27] Ryan says: figuring, he has the capability to confirm so much more
[00:19:52] Dan Smith says: no he doesn’t about R&D…
[00:20:15] Ryan says: he doesn’t see what RP sends you on the subjects you discuss?
[00:20:19] Dan Smith says: Of course RP encourages me…
[00:20:28] Ryan says: he doesn’t “witness” RP encouraging you?
[00:20:44] Zep Tepi says: I don’t think she will be very interested in knowing someone who has a blog also talks sometimes with RP, you will need to be VERY specific when talking with her
[00:20:48] Dan Smith says: RP has sent me nothing on eschaton…
[00:21:10] Dan Smith says: specific….of course…
[00:21:13] Zep Tepi says: so again, where will this get us?
[00:21:14] Ryan says: what about ufos…aliens….RAM….remote viewing….ghosts….god….etc…
[00:21:41] Dan Smith says: all that crap comes after the eschaton stuff…
(note: Charming!)
[00:21:47] Ryan says: i think it would be newsworthy if there was confirmation that a government agent was discussing UFO’s legitimately with a civilian
[00:21:53] Ryan says: or any other paranormal topic
[00:22:07] Dan Smith says: Eschaton isw ##1 priority….No??
[00:22:17] Zep Tepi says: I don’t see it like that, unless he is talking on the record…
[00:22:18] Ryan says: Eschaton is the big picture, yes?
[00:22:30] Dan Smith says: yes…
[00:22:32] Ryan says: he’s talking to a “crazy” person…why is that?
[00:22:40] Ryan says: i’d say a journalist would take notice of that…
[00:23:30] Dan Smith says: come on you guys…get this straight between yourselves…
[00:23:38] Zep Tepi says: why?
[00:23:44] Ryan says: haha
[00:23:54] Zep Tepi says: we don’t always agree on things
[00:23:59] Ryan says: certainly not!
[00:24:15] Dan Smith says: obviously…..!!! no shit Sherlock…
[00:24:16] Zep Tepi says: you said earlier disclosure starts tonight
[00:24:25] Zep Tepi says: disclosure of WHAT?
[00:24:34] Ryan says: and did anyone encourage you to blog tonight?
[00:24:40] Zep Tepi says: that a government official talks with a blogger?
[00:24:48] Zep Tepi says: whoppie doo! :)
[00:24:55] Dan Smith says: of R&D to whomever…. NY times???
[00:25:25] Ryan says: not that he only talks…but that he talks legitimately about a paranormal topic…(assuming CoR25 will confirm that part)
[00:25:28] Ryan says: but it sounds like he won’t
[00:25:35] Ryan says: so i’d say it’s a bust unfortunately
[00:25:44] Dan Smith says: to whom would you like??
[00:25:52] Zep Tepi says: lets go through it here
[00:25:59] Zep Tepi says: pretend I am Sharon
[00:26:06] Zep Tepi says: first contacy
[00:26:09] Zep Tepi says: contact even
[00:26:13] Zep Tepi says: what say you?
[00:26:35] Dan Smith says: She knows RP…
[00:26:49] Zep Tepi says: right ok, I gathered that part
[00:26:56] Dan Smith says: She knows he is a major player…
[00:27:11] Dan Smith says: He plays with me…
[00:27:23] Zep Tepi says: right, that is certainly true
[00:27:36] Zep Tepi says: she knows you too?
[00:27:48] Dan Smith says: so then I am either Bennewitz or Jesus…
[00:27:50] Zep Tepi says: if not you need to introduce yourself to her
[00:28:18] Ryan says: just don’t say you’re Bennewitz or Jesus…at least not at first 😉
[00:28:24] Zep Tepi says: lol
[00:28:36] Dan Smith says: ok what should I say???
[00:28:42] Zep Tepi says: well, if the choice is Bennewitz or Jesus Dan, I go for the former
[00:28:45] Ryan says: haha
[00:29:00] Zep Tepi says: say anything along those lines to Sharon and she will run a mile
[00:29:11] Dan Smith says: fine…no problemo….states witness with CoR25…!!!
[00:29:21] Ryan says: wait a minute…do you have it in writing that CoR25 will “back you up”?
[00:29:33] Ryan says: or has he simply told you so over the phone
[00:29:50] Dan Smith says: I have it verbal…big VERBAL….
[00:29:58] Ryan says: uh-huh
[00:30:05] Ryan says: you know what we say to our managers at work?
[00:30:10] Ryan says: if it ain’t in writing – it ain’t
[00:30:17] Dan Smith says: I blog it…he confirms it….
[00:30:23] Zep Tepi says: and more to the point, on whose authority was you made Jesus?
[00:30:29] Ryan says: how do you know he doesn’t turn around on you after you blog it?
[00:30:29] Zep Tepi says: RP’s?
[00:30:44] Zep Tepi says: RP gets to decide these things? Does the Pope know about this?
[00:30:47] Ryan says: “No idea what Dan’s going on about, I never said any such thing”
[00:31:02] Ryan says: RP is God mate…did you forget?
[00:31:02] Dan Smith says: well…that is the entire issue here….
[00:31:10] Zep Tepi says: the thing is though Dan
[00:31:15] Zep Tepi says: you blog something along those lines
[00:31:27] Zep Tepi says: and CoR25 doesn’t back you up
[00:31:32] Ryan says: not good
[00:31:36] Zep Tepi says: where does that leave you then?
[00:31:41] Zep Tepi says: In Bennewitz country
[00:31:57] Dan Smith says: then CoR25 will have broken his word for first time…
[00:32:14] Zep Tepi says: you need to be specific though
[00:32:35] Ryan says: the first time huh?
[00:32:36] Ryan says: wow
[00:32:36] Dan Smith says: I’m fine in Bennewitz country….are you stupid about that???
[00:32:44] Zep Tepi says: simply saying “CoR25 confirms government official in contact with blogger” is not exactly the start of disclosure
[00:32:51] Ryan says: it’s stupid to be fine in bennewitz country
[00:32:53] Zep Tepi says: you’re fine about that?
[00:32:54] Ryan says: but that’s neither here nor there
[00:32:59] Zep Tepi says: exactly
[00:33:11] Dan Smith says: eschaton blogger is not a laughing matter….
[00:33:21] Zep Tepi says: it isn’t?
[00:33:33] Zep Tepi says: what did CoR25 say to you?
[00:33:58] Dan Smith says: i am about to write that on the blog…
[00:34:07] Zep Tepi says: ah right, yes you did say
[00:34:17] Dan Smith says: i will tell you when it’s ready..
[00:34:21] Ryan says: thought you were going to pass it by us?…oh ok
[00:34:32] Ryan says: still need to write it up then
[00:34:37] Zep Tepi says: don’t want you shooting yourself in the foot
[00:34:38] Dan Smith says: I already have…
[00:34:49] Ryan says: or someone else shooting you in the foot
[00:34:54] Zep Tepi says: or being used as a pawn in a childish game
[00:34:59] Dan Smith says: me shoot myself…..not really,…
[00:35:22] Dan Smith says: childish…eschaton….oxymoron…
[00:36:05] Zep Tepi says: have you thought that eschaton isn’t the game being played here?
[00:36:38] Dan Smith says: of course…but that is the game that RP encourages for 16 years…..
[00:37:00] Dan Smith says: problemo….???
[00:37:19] Zep Tepi says: erm…no?
[00:37:40] Dan Smith says: no problemo….excellente!!!
[00:38:07] Zep Tepi says: but like I said, I don’t want to see anyone being shot in the foot
[00:38:12] Ryan says: or lied to
[00:38:18] Ryan says: that’s our only beef – ever
[00:38:45] Zep Tepi says: there could be several bouts of schadenfreude in the air after tonight
[00:38:52] Ryan says: lol
[00:38:59] Dan Smith says: sayonara…. Hasta la vista, Baby…!!!
[00:39:00] Zep Tepi says: but not from us I hasten to add
(Note:I know, I know, this very post could be deemed “shadenfreude-esque”, but it is simply a reporting of the facts)
[00:39:16] Dan Smith says: from whom???
[00:39:33] Zep Tepi says: the great unwashed?
[00:39:42] Ryan says: the “untouchables”
[00:39:51] Ryan says: mr and mr. bulletproof
[00:40:00] Dan Smith says: you speak in parables…
[00:40:04] Ryan says: thank you
[00:40:11] Ryan says: coming from jesus that means a lot
[00:40:16] Zep Tepi says: I speak several languages, parables is just one 😉
[00:40:38] Dan Smith says: any other questions or suggestions???
[00:40:54] Ryan says: i’d say go for it dan
[00:40:58] Zep Tepi says: me too
[00:41:04] Ryan says: you’ll only find support from us, caryn, and the likes of us
[00:41:15] Zep Tepi says: can’t say anything more until we’ve seen what you are about to post
[00:41:21] Dan Smith says: …going for IT……………………….
[00:41:31] Ryan says: excellent

Well, we saw what he was about to post and sure enough, it wasn’t really all that significant. The answers are all available in the chat above. Dan states this is very significant “newsworthy” stuff – the fact that a government official talks with Dan, an “Eschaton blogger”. Yet Dan also says of that very same official: “RP has sent me nothing on eschaton…”

Caryn Anscomb reports from her blog on her chat with CoR25, specifically what will be “disclosed”:

“I have no clue what the “confirmation of the R&D show means”…I said I would tell ANYONE that I know RP and Dan are friends, have talked about all manner and matter of stuff for years, they disagree vehemently essentially any matter of substance, have great humor, and know each other very well: they talk often, and are very open when asked by anyone that they communicate a great deal in person, by phone, and by email, but neither knows what the other is really all about…not do I. If THAT is the “R&D Show…” you bet: I will tell anyone THAT…good heavens I have been confirming that for many years!”

Read Caryn’s full report on her blog here,
absolutely essential reading for those who truly do want access to the big picture.

In the meantime, let us remind ourselves of a little nursey rhyme. Any similarities or likenesses to real people are purely intentional…

Chicken Little

Chicken Little likes to walk in the woods. She likes to look at the trees. She likes to smell the flowers. She likes to listen to the birds singing.

One day while she is walking an acorn falls from a tree, and hits the top of her little head.
My, oh, my, the sky is falling. I must run and tell the lion about it” – says Chicken Little and begins to run.
She runs and runs. By and by she meets the hen.
Where are you going?” – asks the hen.
Oh, Henny Penny, the sky is falling and I am going to the lion to tell him about it.”
How do you know it?” – asks Henny Penny.
It hit me on the head, so I know it must be so” – says Chicken Little.

Let me go with you!” – says Henny Penny. – “Run, run.”

So the two run and run until they meet Ducky Lucky.

The sky is falling” – says Henny Penny. “We are going to the lion to tell him about it

How do you know that?” – asks Ducky Lucky.

It hit Chicken Little on the head” – says Henny Penny.

May I come with you?” – asks Ducky Lucky.

Come” – says Henny Penny.

So all three of them run on and on until they meet Foxey Loxey.

Where are you going?” – asks Foxey Loxey.

The sky is falling and we are going to the lion to tell him about it” – says Ducky Lucky.

Do you know where he lives?” – asks the fox.

I don’t” – says Chicken Little.

I don’t” – says Henny Penny.

I don’t” – says Ducky Lucky.

I do” – says Foxey Loxey. – “Come with me and I can show you the way.”

He walks on and on until he comes to his den.

Come right in” – says Foxey Loxey.

They all go in, but they never, never come out again.

Eep!
More to follow.

Cheers,
Zep

Update from Ryan D.

Any questions?

Just a couple comments if I may.
When you stated this:

CoR25 said that he will confirm to whomever that there have been extensive communications between me and Ron over a number of years, and that Ron is well aware of my bias toward eschatology of the traditional kind.”

and this:

CoR25 was surprised that the R&D show had not already been publicly confirmed. I contended that it had not been so confirmed, and he readily consented to be the official confirmer of the R&D show.”

I think it’s important to define “confirmation” here. Is “Ron talks to Dan extensively, and is aware of Dan’s bias toward eschatology..” confirmation? It’s certainly confirmation of what anyone who is on Jack’s list, or reads the forums, or has even a passing familiarity with the “Aviary” side of ufology -already knows. Will a journalist find it newsworthy? Probably not. Is it worth a try? Sure – go for it.

What we were trying to convey to you last night, Dan, is whether something of this nature would be a little more interesting to the general public:

Ron talks to Dan extensively about eschatology and issues related to ufology -and supports and encourages Dan positively in his online blog statements related to eschatology, ufology, and related phenomenology.
Furthermore – Ron submits correspondence to Dan on various ufology issues in a supportive role, including controversial issues such as supporting Gordon Novel’s RAM project both on the blog and monetarily (encouraging Dan to invest a few thousand dollars in Gordon’s project), investigating Rick Doty’s involvement in Serpo, and all of the other issues discussed on Dan’s blog. Ron has had Dan meet with officials, members of Congress, and even foreign delegates. These activities appear, at least, to represent official, not personal, investment and interest in Dan Smith – a controversial figure in Eschatology, Ufology, andPhenomenology who Pandolfi has reportedly called insane and ‘sick’.”

That would constitute confirmation.
As to this:

I have had discussions with OM and RU, and they are prepared to make the case that a confirmable R&D show should rise to the level of legitimate news.”

That is absolutely true. But only if something like the above statement is confirmed. CoR25’s current comments to you represent a tongue-in-cheek statement – that make the request for confirmation appear amateur and ridiculous (and dare I say stupid), intentionally or not. To them, this appears to be a big joke. If CoR25 is willing to confirm the statement that I’ve suggested above – we would be more than happy to publish an article on the matter to our website, and submit the news to as many journalists, forums and bloggers as we have access to and support from. CoR25 may not consider some of those avenues properly journalistic – but, if so, he underestimates the power of the internet and undermines the intelligence of most of us here. I suspect Gary Bekkum & Caryn Anscomb would likely agree that such a statement as the one above would be newsworthy as well.

Otherwise, CoR25’s tongue-in-cheek comments to you aren’t worth the electronic bits and bytes they’re displayed on, unfortunately.

Respectfully,
-Ryan
