Suggestions for the RU/Gang of 3 theme song?

My vote: Tom Petty - I Won't Back Down

Hey baby, there aint no easy way out
Hey I will stand my ground
And I wont back down.

Well I know whats right, I got just one life
In a world that keeps on pushin me around
But Ill stand my ground and I wont back down

That's awesome! Wish you had suggested that before the creation of the Dr. Webre interview - we could have overlaid that audio over the "RealityUncovered" title screen! lol

It'll have to wait for our first documentary....

{Keeping the thread alive..}

How about "Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft"?

In your mind you have capacities you know
To telepath messages through the vast unknown
Please close your eyes and concentrate
With every thought you think
Upon the recitation we're about to sing

Calling occupants of interplanetary craft
Calling occupants of interplanetary, most extraordinary craft

Calling occupants of interplanetary craft
Calling occupants of interplanetary craft
Calling occupants of interplanetary, most extraordinary craft

You've been observing our earth
And we'd like to make a contact with you
We are your friends

Calling occupants of interplanetary craft
Calling occupants of interplanetary ultra emissaries

We've been observing your earth
And one night we'll make a contact with you

We are your friends
Calling occupants of interplanetary quite extraordinary craft

Preferably the Carpenters version..
Is this a private fight, or can anyone join in?

(The Carpenters? Hmm... Weren't they used to calm the insane ward in ye olde movie called At the Mouth of Madness?)

If we're going to suggest songs, I'll chip in with the B-52's 53 Miles West of Venus, since that sounds spacey and since I recently said the same to Spiderj over at ATS.

Oh - good one! (I shoulda thought of that - doh!)

{PS I don't believe the Carpenters ever soothed anybody, much less the insane - they probably made more people crazy..}

That's basically what happened in the film, as well...

Sam (O'?) Neill at his insanest. You've not seen it? Horror movie with readers of Stephen King-like author going crazy, axe-murdering style, with a lot of Lovecraft thrown in to cover all the bases.

Oh great - that just got me thinking about other songs to use--->

For Billy Meier you can use Def Leppard's "Photograph"
Photograph - I dont want your
Photograph - I dont need your
Photograph - all Ive got is a photograph
But its not enough

The official Serpo theme = Sex Pistol's "Liar"
Now I wanna know know I wanna known why
You never look me in the face
Broke a confidence just to please your ego
Shouldve realised you know what I know

I know where you go everybody you know
I know everything that you do or say
So when you tell lies I always be in your way
Im nobodys fool and I know all cos I know
What I know

The Request Anonymous theme could be Men at Work's "Who Can It Be Now"
Who can it be knocking at my door?
Go 'way, don't come 'round here no more.
Can't you see that it's late at night?
I'm very tired, and I'm not feeling right.
All I wish is to be alone;
Stay away, don't you invade my home.
Best off if you hang outside,
Don't come in - I'll only run and hide.

CHORUS:
Who can it be now?
Who can it be now?
Who can it be now?
Who can it be now?

Another good theme song suggestion.. Blink-182 "Aliens Exist"

Hey mom there's something in the backroom
I hope it's not the creatures from above
You used to read me stories
As if my dreams were boring
We all know conspiracies are dumb

What if people knew that these were real (these were real)
I'd leave my closet door open all night
I know the CIA would say
What you hear is all hearsay
I wish someone would tell me what was right (snip)

I am still a skeptic yes you know me (yes you know me)
Been best friends and will be till we die (till we die)
I got an injection
A fear from the abduction
My best friend thinks Im just telling lies

I'm surprised nobody mentioned this yet so I will,

Dark Side of the Moon, Pink Floyd

Think about it

LOL - great one! I was just coming back here to suggest "Interstellar Overdrive" and "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun" by Pink Floyd. Coincidence? I think not..
