Whether or not that seems so crazy probably depends upon the human experience of the phenomena; perhaps some day the NIDS physicist will come forward with the tale.
Well, since one of the earliest NIDS directors left NIDS because he disagreed with their approach (not following up on all relevant leads) - it's more likely that the NIDS scientists (one of whom is researching zero point energy and the other is researching "prion disease") have absolutely no answers.
Once Bigelow's funding ran out for that project - they moved on to projects where the money could be had.
If you're looking for answers from NIDS - you're looking in the wrong place.
This former director said, by the way, that they often would not follow up on the leads that indicated hoaxing or manipulating activies...such as interviewing locals who had information of the background regarding some of the activities, etc...
Skinwalker "technology" has its origins in the local Native American subculture of the area, not species of creatures from another planet.
