NAZIs - NASA - THE NINE

Postby Shawnna » Fri Jan 05, 2007 5:09 am

What in the world do Nazis, NASA and The Nine have to do with each other?

I hope that when you’re done reading this, you will see enough of a connection to allow for the possibility that all is not as it seems.

This is not an exhaustive exploration of this topic. Rather, I am hoping to pique your interest to further explore.

NAZIs and Operation Paperclip

Operation Paperclip (also known as Project Paperclip) involved the secret removal of Nazi scientists from Germany by the US intelligence and military during the last stage of World War II.

The Nazi scientists had amassed an extraordinary amount of research, as well as results, related to rocketry, aerodynamics, chemical weapons, technology and medicine. Of course, much of their research was conducted on human subjects in the Nazi concentration camps, but that’s for another article.

Because these individuals and their families were either members of the National Socialist German Workers’ Party or the SS, and/or considered war criminals or security threats, they would have been denied visas by the US State Department, but the military wasn’t about to let that interfere with anything.

Besides, we couldn’t let the Soviets get their hands on the Nazi research now could we?

In addition to the production of the V-1 and V-2 missiles, the German Nazis had designs for jet and “flying saucer” type craft.

One interesting report shows that on August 5, 1947, Guido Bernardy wanted to warn the US Army in Frankfurt about the Nazi secret weapons, including the development of flying saucers by Hitler’s scientists, as well as the appearance of “two gentlemen, with no special talent in their lives, [who] discovered they did have extraordinary powers and capabilities which made it possible for them to communicate and contact the spirit world.” Mr. Bernardy was interviewed by Albert Goldstein who noted in his report that “subject seemed entirely sincere, and the strong possibility that he is merely a crackpot is not apparent.”

NAZIs and the Occult

After reading the above subtitle, I’m sure most of you want to stop reading. I understand this reaction – for it is one I would have had previously as well.

For those of us growing up in the US and beginning in kindergarten, we “pledged allegiance” to a “nation under God”. With 78% of the US involved in some form of Christianity , our history and culture is steeped in religion and the word “occult” denotes evil for most of us.

What I am asking you to do is let go of all you have heard or read about relating to the “occult”. Doing this – even for this brief moment while you read this – will allow you to perhaps think about things in a little different way. Exploring our reality with an open mind and heart is fundamental to the evolution of our species.

To be sure we are all on the same page going forward, here is the definition of the word “occult” as used here.

The word occult comes from the Latin occultus (clandestine, hidden, secret). It refers to the 'knowledge of the secret' or 'knowledge of the hidden' and may also be thought of as 'knowledge of the supernatural' (as opposed to knowledge that can be explained through science). The term is sometimes taken to mean 'knowledge meant only for certain people' or 'knowledge that must be kept hidden', but for most practicing occultists it is simply the study of a deeper spiritual "reality" that extends beyond pure reason and the physical sciences. The terms esoteric and arcane can have a very similar meaning, and the three terms are often interchangeable.

The term occult is also used as a label given to a number of organizations or orders, and the teachings and practices as taught by them. The name also extends to a large body of literature and spiritual philosophy.

Now that we have that as our foundation, let’s move on to explore NAZIs and the Occult.

Guido Karl Anton List, aka Guido von List, was most noted as an occult and volkisch author and is considered one of the most important figures in Germanic revivalism, Germanic mysticism, Runic Revivalism and Runosophy.

The Thule Society or ‘Study Group for Germanic Antiquity’ was a German occultist and volkisch group in Munich. It is the organization that sponsored the Deutsche Arbeiterpartei – which Adolf Hitler transformed into the Nazi Party.

The Thule Society, which derived elements of its ideology and members from earlier occult groups founded by Guido von List included men who became high Nazi Party officials including Rudolf Hess, Alfred Rosenberg, Dietrich Eckart and Hans Frank, among others. Some sources state Hitler was an “associate member” or “visiting brother”. Allegedly dentist Dr. Friedrich Krohn, a member of the Thule Society, chose the swastika symbol for the Nazi party.

It is reported that Dietrich Eckart had the most significant Thule influence on Hitler. Mr. Eckart was a committed occultist as well as a member of the Thule Society’s inner circle. He was the wealthy publisher of the newspaper “In Plain German” and it is believed that he taught Hitler a number of persuasive techniques. Hitler’s book – Mein Kampf – was dedicated to Eckart.

It is clear, at least to me, that the German Nazis were experts in rocket science and aeronautics, as well as deeply involved and influenced by the occult.

History of US Space Research

Beginning in the fall of 1945, the first group of German Nazi researchers, including Wernher von Braun, arrived in the US. This influx of Nazi rocket scientists marked the beginning of the US rocket program ultimately culminating in the first US launch of a V-2 rocket from the White Sands Proving Ground in New Mexico on April 16, 1946.

And so began what has been called the Cold War Space Race.

Leading the US effort is Nazi scientist Wernher von Braun who in the fall of 1954 presents a paper to a joint Army-Navy team that results in the Army submitting plans to the Office of Naval Research and Jet Propulsion Laboratory for analysis of Project Orbiter. Project Orbiter’s production and launch schedule includes a series of four scientific satellites with the first slated for launch no earlier than September 1956.

However, in typical US fashion, a competition involving the Orbiter, Viking and Atlas satellite programs is in play resulting in the 1955 formation of an eight-member Advisory Group on Special Capabilities to settle the issue. This group consists of two Secretary of Defense selectees, two Army, two Navy and two Air Force selectees. Homer J. Stewart of JPL is the appointed head of what becomes known as the Stewart Committee. In August of 1955, this committee selects the Navy Research Laboratory (NRL) Viking-based plan to launch the first U.S. satellites. The vote is 5 to 2, with one member absent. Stewart himself votes in favor of Project Orbiter.

Project Orbiter is rejected primarily because the program is considered to offer a poor tracking system and inferior scientific value. In addition, Project Orbiter employed Redstone and Sergeant military rockets, violating the desire of President Eisenhower that U.S. scientific satellite research be distanced from the military.

Scientific management of the NRL program is subsequently assigned to the National Academy of Sciences, with funding through the National Science Foundation. The Navy is assigned the role of developing the Viking-based carrier vehicle. NRL and civilian managers are forbidden from soliciting scientific data from existing military ballistic missile programs.
Branches of the US Military are competitive and their specific interests do not die easily. In August of 1995, the Army issues a memo critical of the NRL Satellite program with NRL quickly rebutting this memo. A month later the Army, Navy & Air Force are formally notified that the Stewart Committee approved the NRL program, now named Project Vanguard. Project Orbiter is killed and the Army is forbidden from attempting to launch satellites. It is reported that not long after this Homer Stewart of JPL tells Wernher von Braun “We have pulled a great boner!”

Just days after the death of Project Orbiter, the Army is given a chance to develop their four-stage version of the Redstone, not to launch satellites, but to support Jupiter nosecone high-speed re-entry tests. The first Jupiter C is launched in September, 1956 and breaks all altitude and range records. Interestingly the Jupiter C carries a dummy payload and the fourth stage motor is filled with sand ballast instead of solid fuel. This is to prevent the "accidental" launching of a satellite prior to officially sanctioned Project Vanguard.

Now of course the Soviets were also working diligently and in fact, on October 4, 1957, Sputnik I, the first artificial Earth satellite is launched. The Soviets beat the US to space!

Obviously having the “evil empire” beat the US in the Space Race fuels public fears that the Soviets possess ballistic missiles. To put the American public at ease, President Eisenhower states “the effect of Sputnik does not raise my apprehension one iota” at a news conference.

With Project Vanguard managers not planning to launch an instrumented satellite until early 1958, and insiders acknowledging that orbiting of a small tracking satellite on the first attempt using an untested rocket is a “possible windfall only”, President Eisenhower agrees with Defense Secretary Neil McElrov that an Army Ballistic Missile Agency (“ABMÅ”) satellite program should be officially considered as a backup to Vanguard.

In the meantime, the Soviets continue to push forward and on November 3, 1957, successfully launches Sputnik II with the first living creature, a female dog named Laika. Of course a windstorm of domestic criticism of U.S. satellite efforts immediately follows.

Five days later, the US Department of Defense issues a press release stating that the Army is authorized to launch a series of instrumented satellites aboard Jupiter C rockets as a supplement to Project Vanguard. However, this press release is issued even before ABMA Major General Medaris receives his official orders. And when he does, they only authorize ABMA to “prepare” for launching satellites. Within hours, Wernher von Braun, William Pickering and Medaris tender their resignations to Army Secretary Wilber Brucker pending an official authorization to proceed with satellite launches, regardless of the outcome of Project Vanguard.

Later that month, Medaris receives late word that ABMA would be allowed to launch regardless of the outcome of Project Vanguard and he informs his staff. Specifically he states that ABMA is not in competition with any other agency, and that ABMA satellite development is officially assigned to the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (“JPL”).

In mid-December 1957 - ABMA, based largely on projections from Wernher von Braun, predicts 2,000 pound Earth-satellites and an unmanned soft lunar landing by the end of 1960 as well as 5,000-pound Earth-satellites before the close of 1961 to a selected number of scientists and military leaders. The report also predicts unmanned circumnavigation of the Moon with complete photographic coverage and a two-man Earth-satellite by the close of 1962. It predicts 20,000-pound Earth-satellites and a manned expedition to circumnavigate the Moon before the close of 1963. Before the close of 1965, a 20-man Earth-orbiting space station is predicted, as well as a three-man lunar landing by the close of 1967. ABMA also predicts the establishment of a 50-man permanent lunar outpost before the close of 1971. Cost of these programs is estimated at $1.5 billion per year.

Finally at the end of January, 1958 – ABMA launches the first US satellite from Cape Canaveral. Shortly after launch, the satellite is given the name "Explorer" and President Eisenhower makes a radio announcement that “Explorer I” has reached orbit from his vacation home in Augusta, Georgia. At 2:00 a.m. EST in Washington, D.C. a press conference is held featuring Wernher von Braun, William Pickering, James Van Allen and Army Secretary Wilber Brucker.

So what can we see from this brief Cold War Space Race timeline of events?

• What is clear is that contrary to what Eisenhower appeared to want, virtually all US space research prior to October 1, 1958 was in the hands of the military and military contractors like the Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

• JPL was central – and I do mean central – to the eventual successful launch of a US satellite.

So how does this connect to the occult?

Let’s look at the background of one of the founders of JPL – Jack Parsons. To appreciate the importance of Parsons in the Space Race, it is reported that Wernher von Braun remarked that Parsons, and not he, should be regarded as the father of the American space program.

Born in 1914, John Whiteside Parsons (“Jack”) has been described as a dedicated occultist, writer, visionary and chemist genius. All of this is either outright documented or alluded to in JPL101 – the official history of JPL.

Now – if you’re anything like me, your eyebrows went up as you thought with a shocked expression “A founder of the world-renowned Jet Propulsion Lab - an occultist?” What exactly does that mean?

Let’s look briefly at the information related to how deeply Jack was involved in the occult.

Jack was deeply devoted to occult practices. Specifically, it is reported that before each test launch, he invoked Aleister Crowley’s Hymn to Pan, the wild horned god of fertility. He was chosen by Aleister Crowley to lead Agape Lodge, the Thelemic Ordo Templi Orientis (O.T.O.) in California in 1942 after Crowley expelled Wilfred Smith from the position.

Okay – the next few paragraphs are going to seem like they were taken from a soap opera script but I’ve read all of this in more than one place so I feel pretty confident of it’s accuracy.

Sarah Elizabeth Northrup (AKA 'Betty'), began living with Parsons after his wife (Sarah's sister) Helen Northrup left with Wilfred Smith. Sarah Elizabeth Northrup later married L. Ron Hubbard, the founder of Scientology and sometime magickal partner of Parsons. Parsons and Hubbard participated in a ritual known as the Babalon Working which is famous in occult circles — loosely, it was an attempt to summon a living goddess and change the course of history.

In January of 1946, Parsons, Betty, and Hubbard started a boat dealing company named Allied Enterprises. Parsons put in a large sum of approximately $21,000—Hubbard put in $1,200, and Betty nothing. Parsons was very jealous of Betty and Hubbard's relationship and so when she devoted herself entirely to Hubbard, Parsons set out to find another partner, his so called "scarlet woman", a magical partner with whom he could sire a "Moonchild." The Moonchild is traditionally the incarnation of a God, as prophesied in Crowley's channeled script 'The Book of the Law' (The creation of this Moonchild was covered in Crowley's novel of the same name).
When Parsons met artist and poet Marjorie Cameron, he regarded her as the fulfilment of his magical rituals. This same year he resigned his leadership of the O.T.O.

The Hubbard/Allied relationship lasted until 1947, when Hubbard defrauded Parsons of a sum of money and ran off with Sarah Northrup. Hubbard used much of this money from Allied Enterprises to promulgate and publish his book Dianetics, which later evolved into and was superseded by Scientology.

Whew…… isn’t that an amazing tale?

What do we have now?

We have one of the founders of JPL – and the US Space Program - deeply involved in the occult.

NASA

On October 1, 1958, President Eisenhower signed the National Aeronautics and Space Act, resulting in the creation of the National Aeronautics and Space Association or “NASA”. Central to this new agency are the Nazi rocket scientists brought over after WWII within “Operation Paperclip”. JPL – who we now know was founded in part by an individual deeply involved in the occult - was quickly absorbed in to the NASA organization.

During this same period of time, the military and intelligence agencies dominated UFO research and investigation. Unfortunately, they also kept the majority of sightings, investigations, recovered “evidence” and eyewitness reports classified and hidden from civilian groups.

What else was going on within the military and intelligence communities at this time?

PSI Research

Science today is incomplete in many respects. We lack a unified theory of the physical forces. We lack a theory of consciousness itself. Our ability to integrate psi (if it exists) into our scientific worldview is extremely limited until we can develop adequate theories of these fundamental constituents of the universe.

The US government has a long history of PSI research

During 1954, the year that Whitley Strieber, author of “Communion”, describes as the first year he was brought to the “secret school”, 17 MK-ULTRA contracts were signed, including research on hypnosis (Projects 25 and 29), drugs (Projects 26, 27, 28, 37 & 38) and even stage magic (John Mulholland’s projects 15 and 19). These projects included the testing of known hallucinogens and narcotics on human subjects – most without their consent and knowledge.

In 1955 the Ionia State Hospital program involving the massive dosing of prisoners with LSD began as well as the use of hypnosis in interrogations (Project 39).

In 1956, Louis Jolyon West’s experiments in “dissociated states” under the University of Oklahoma (Project 43).

Little is known of the military research taking place at the same time. What is known is the result of four boxes of MK-ULTRA files escaping the shredding effort of Richard Helms and Sidney Gottlieb and includes:

1959 - Air Force contracts with the CIA to study the “Nature and Uses of Hypnosis as a Control Technique” (contract AF 49(638)-72B)

1964 – Navy has similar contracts (contract Nonr-4731(00))

1964-1971 – Air Force contracts with CIA to study relation between sleep and hypnosis (contract AF-AFOSR-707-67).

Using drugs, hypnosis and occult techniques, it is clear that the government of the US had a vice-like-grip on research into the nature of consciousness, memory, deception and manipulation.

While at the very same time as one of the founders of JPL was head of an Aleister Crowley OTO lodge, leading military and other authorities were doing damage control with respect to UFOs.

Okay, now things are going to get a little weird so try to keep an open mind and I’m hoping you’ll see the connection.

The NINE

No – I’m not referring to the current television show.

A Reality Uncovered researcher has shared this explanation of “The Nine” that was quite helpful for me.

The Nine are an ancient archetypal concept. Most familiar within Egyptian mythology colloquially known as the Ennead: the nine great Osirian gods: Atum, Shu, Tefnut, Geb, Nut, Osiris, Isis, Set, and Nephthys - the great council of the gods as well as a collective term for all the gods.

Atum was the first who created himself arising out of Nu, the primal nothingness. He created Shu and Tefnut from either his spittle or his blood. From their union came Geb and Nut. Their children were the first gods of earth: Osiris and Isis, and Set and Nephthys. The pharaohs and many of the Egyptian lesser gods descended from these four.

In 1948, Andrija Puharich (aka Henry K. Puharich) set up a private, paranormal research laboratory called the Round Table Foundation. Some of the noted psychics who were studied at the Foundation include Eileen Garrett, a famous Irish medium and Peter Hurkos, a noted Dutch clairvoyant. The Foundation members included Arthur M. Young an influential philosopher and inventor and the socialite Alice Bouverie (nee Astor).

The end of 1952 brought a startling development to Puharich’s research. It was at this time that Dr. Vinod (reportedly an Indian mystic), began to channel The Nine or ‘the Nine Principles’. In the months before Vinod returned to India, a group met regularly to hear The Nine’s channeled wisdom. Never known for their modesty, The Nine proclaimed themselves to be God, stating, "God is nobody else than we together, the Nine Principles of God."? ?

Just three years later, what some view as independent confirmation of The Nine’s existence took place. It was during a trip to Mexico that Puharich and Young met Charles and Lillian Laughead, former Christian missionaries involved in the UFO contactee movement.

After returning to the US a few weeks later, Puharich received a letter from the Laugheads containing messages received by their group’s channeler. This message also claimed to come from the Nine, and to everyone’s amazement, included references to the earlier communications transmitted through Dr Vinod!

Is it possible “The Nine” are real???

Perhaps the answer is embedded in the career of Puharich himself.

Who is Andrija Puharich?

It is reported that he served in the Army in the early 1950s, and in 1952, presented a paper entitled 'An Evaluation of the Possible Uses of Extrasensory Perception in Psychological Warfare' at a secret Pentagon meeting. In 1953, he lectured senior US Air Force officers on telepathy, and the staff of the Army Chemical Center on 'The Biological Foundations of Extrasensory Perception.' Back in civilian life, he starred in a Perry Mason episode as a scientist on the track of some paranormal phenomenon. A TV documentary, which appeared in an ABC TV series called One Step Beyond in 1961, followed his expedition to a remote village in Mexico to investigate a local mushroom which was rumoured by the Chatino Indians to induce extrasensory perception in those who consumed it. The fungus had been the subject of Puharich's first book, The Sacred Mushroom.

After disbanding the Round Table Foundation in 1958, he worked for 10 years as an inventor of medical devices and achieved international recognition as a parapsychologist, most famously studying the Brazilian psychic surgeon, Arigo (José Pedro de Freitas). But all that was to pale into insignificance because, in 1971, Puharich discovered Uri Geller.??At their first meetings in Tel Aviv in 1971, Puharich hypnotized Geller in an attempt to find out where his abilities came from. As a result, the young Israeli started to channel ‘Spectra’ – an entity which claimed to be a conscious super-computer aboard a spaceship.

However, Puharich suggested to him that there might be a connection with the Nine Principles, and Spectra readily agreed that there was. The Nine claimed that they had programmed Geller with his powers as a young child.??Through Geller, The Nine alerted Puharich to his life’s mission, which was to use Geller’s talents to alert the world to an imminent mass landing of spaceships that would bring representatives of The Nine.

As I’ve ventured down this particular tunnel of the rabbit hole, I’ve only tapped the surface of what appears to be a long and involved history of individuals exploring the nature of their existence using what we call occult techniques. These include individuals like Andrija Puharich and Jacque Vallee, but many, many others as well.

The most fundamental questions of humanity that most of us never bother asking in public have been, and are, being explored by those who refuse to go with the “status quo” – for whatever reason.

….like many more sober investigators I have come to take seriously the notion that there are discrete intelligences at hand other than those housed in fleshly bodies, and that they interact with us in quite complex ways. The Puharich/Geller story is kin to a number of other fairly independent accounts that represent a sudden apocalyptic edge to this spreading belief; and though they arise in the context of a society that is slowly tearing apart, their flamboyance can't he dismissed simply on this account. We are in for an age of increasingly strange social phenomena (and scientific ones as well), and our beliefs about what is are already in the process of being shattered. Weird things are abrew -- perhaps as odd as Puharich's intimations, if not quite the same -- and I think it is much the better part of intellectual humility to recognize what we have no way of knowing, and to confess our guesses as projections of our wishes.

Peter Levenda

By the way, this is explained in greater detail within the following books – all of which I highly recommend.

The Stargate Conspiracy by Lynn Picknett & Clive Prince (has nothing to do with the movie and TV show of the same name)

Sinister Forces
by Peter Levenda (all 3 books)

My own search for answers stems from my spiritual understanding that we are all connected.

What is most important to remember as you explore the nature of reality is that no one group – be it religious, societal or otherwise – has THE answer to the nature of your/our existence.

The truth is within you.

It just so happens the little old lady that knew Hubbard and was in his group is staying with us. I,ll see if she knows anything about this. earlier she was telling me about all these movies her husband were in and later I checked and it was all true . She knew John Caradine which I though was cool.

The best piece I've read on this subject is a 1960's book called: Morning of the Magicians by Pauwels and Bergier. It's an amazing work well worth searching out. Probably out of print. The Nazi/occult connection has been explored in hundreds of books in the last 60 years but none have topped this one.

It is also worth noting that operation paperclip was a huge miscarriage of justice regardless of its perceived benefit to the US space program. The Nazis involved in this program should have been more properly brought to the bar of justice at Nuremberg than welcomed into the scientific community by the Army. Failure to acknowledge this connection is to implicitly forgive the enormous crimes against humanity perpetrated by these scientists. When mendacious means are used to justify desirable ends we have denied our own humanity.

And really what was the true benefit of throwing in with these war criminals? The net result is the world's reliance on a space exploration paradigm that relies on tossing crap a few hundred miles above the earth on the top of huge fire crackers- certainly an unimaginative dead-end, but typical of the ham-handed Nazi approach to science.

Very well said and I couldn't agree more.

One of my points in sharing this information in the public area of this forum is because my bet is the majority of US citizens have no clue what their government did with respect to these Nazi criminals.

And yes - I believe they were/are nothing more than criminals. And the US government should be held accountable for their actions in protecting them.

Until the citizens of this country wake up and start questioning the authority they have so blindly given to individuals with little moral character, things will never change.

I wouldn't hold my breath until the governmental elements complicit in this travesty are brought to account- they're all dead. On the other hand, their wretched spawn is still in control.

My other point in posting this is to show how interest in the occult weaves it's way through this whole saga.

Most won't believe it - but to think that you were given the whole truth in your US History class is naive, at best.

I have no desire to trash an interest in the occult either - please don't misunderstand.

To safely delve in this area one must possess strong moral character (and preferably a deep spiritual connection to God/Buddah/Love/Source/Creator/Universe) and understand the nature of that they are trying to experience.

Most do not.

:shakeshead:

Great article, Shawnna. To add to your list of "connections" Jack Parsons who was also founder of Cal-Tech was not only an acquaintance but good friends with L. Ron Hubbard and Alistair Crowley. All three also knew Donald Menzel, (astronomer and participant in the Manhattan Project) due to his involvement with JPL. And guess who was a good friend of Donald Menzel? You ready for this? The father of our beloved communicator/conduit with the CIA, Dan Smith,

Dan Smith tells a story of Menzel showing him a leather volume containing some photos of ufo's when Dan Smith was a child.

Menzel was known to have participated with the US Navy in the tracking of ufo's in the Pacific for naval intelligence.

Very curious, this whole thing.

Thanks, Max!

That IS interesting information on Dan Smith. VERY interesting indeed!

I'm glad you find that interesting, Shawnna, as you have a knack for uncovering buried gems. Here's a couple of more leads for you:
1. Another long-time friend of Dan's father was Laurence Rockerfeller, lots of dots there to connect.
2. Laurence was invited to the White House in 1993 (President Clinton Admin.) and was briefed by, ready for this? Ron Pandolfi. Of course due to the well known involvement of Rockerfeller in the subject matter, it is widely believed the briefing was on the state of the UFO situation.
3. Dan Smith's sister is good friends with Barbara Bush.

Will this keep you busy for a while? lol!

Actually not. Cal tech was founded in 1891 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California ... Technology) and Jack Parsons was born in 1914 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Parsons)

Parsons was a researcher at Cal Tech. Perhaps you mean he was a founder of JPL??

And guess who was a good friend of Donald Menzel? You ready for this? The father of our beloved communicator/conduit with the CIA, Dan Smith

Do you have a source for this?? (and for your other comments re: Smith/Rockefeller/Bush??)
Is this a private fight, or can anyone join in?

1. Another long-time friend of Dan's father was Laurence Rockerfeller, lots of dots there to connect.
2. Laurence was invited to the White House in 1993 (first President Bush) and was briefed by, ready for this? Ron Pandolfi. Of course due to the well known involvement of Rockerfeller in the subject matter, it is widely believed the briefing was on the state of the UFO situation.
3. Dan Smith's sister is good friends with Barbara Bush.

Will this keep you busy for a while? lol!

"""Jack Parsons who was also founder of Cal-Tech

Yes, you're right Hidden, that was an incomplete sentence. What I was trying to say was that he was the leading protagonist/founder of the "rocket group" at Cal-Tech that later was split off to become JPL.

As to the other:
""Do you have a source for this?? (and for your other comments re: Smith/Rockefeller/Bush??)""

I'll look for where I learned that and let you know.

Hidden the briefing of Rockefeller is referenced here, among many other places.

http://www.x-ppac.org/OSTP.html

If you google it you can find many sources.

If you google ron pandolfi you will find many articles as he was once involved in a controversy where he felt too much top secret technology was being passed to the Chinese. I believe at on point he was a science or technology advisor to the White House, but not sure of his title.

The Dan Smith information all comes directly from him at his website:

Did I get it all, or what were you asking about Bush?
