UFOs Over Canada

Postby ryguy » Thu May 05, 2011 2:32 pm

During my daily sifting through the newswire and news blogs, I spotted some blurbs about a rash of UFO sightings in Canada in April. It's pretty interesting and I'm trying to get more accounts of the event for a blog update - has anyone heard or even better have first-hand account info about this event (April 14th or so)?

Thanks for any insight you can offer...

Two of the links did not provide anything useful. The one video at Bing looks a lot like a contrail and it was taken at christmas time, not April. I looked over at Chris Rutkowski's blog since he seems to monitor all UFO activity in Canada but he does not mention anything on the 14th. I checked the American Meteor Society's database with no fireballs reported from Canada during the time period. NUFORC had no reports from Canada (but did have a lot of people in California misidentifying a missile launch as a UFO - cudos to PDavenport for identifying it, maybe he reads SUNlite now). MUFON had nothing from Canada either. Not much more at this time that I could figure out.

Brilliant - thank you! Nice to know someone so in-touch with the folks who have the insight into what's going on - saves a lot of time that would otherwise be wasted tracing these things down.

Interesting about the misidentified missile launch!
