The 1980 Cash-Landrum incident & investigation

Postby sentry579 » Wed Jul 24, 2013 3:47 pm

Some of you here participated in discussions with James Easton on the 1980 Cash-Landrum incident. I came across those old posts and found them very interesting and informative, and I've been trying to pick things up where James left off.
I've uncovered some new information, but have mostly busted a few myths on the case.
Please check out my blog devoted to the case, and let me know what you think.

Very nice. I like the way you present the evidence. To me the case always revolves around the helicopter fleet. It is too bad nobody was every to positively identify where they came from. It makes one wonder if the number of helicopters were exaggerated and there might have only been a few instead of dozens.

Thanks for checking it out. I've been trying to get primary case reports from MUFON since 2011, but no luck yet. I'm convinced there is a genuine event at the core of this, but it could be the exuberance of the investigators to find ET footprints led the investigation astray. Since they went into this under the Keyhoe paradigm, they saw the sinister workings of a government cover-up in every shadow.

New documents released on the Cash-Landrum case:

The gist of it: The true sighting location was never pinpointed by the witnesses. Investigator claims of a burned road and scorched trees and other related claims all seem to crumble.

More updates posted at the site, and spirited discussion following Robert Sheaffer's article,

Also, for your viewing pleasure, a test for a slideshow of case photos I'm preparing on the C-L story:
