Folks, who are inside that group (which is now inactive with originators
gone, and apparently old email disabled--according to one
friend who tried to reach him), have pretty much located them in
southern California.

He points out that my BS detector is set real low, ready to go off at
the slightest breeze, whereas his is set real high (touched off by
gale force winds).

Roy's is an older man. Ed has talked with him quite a few times.
(Phone). Of course, that is just an alias.
BTW, there's some work being done on fleshing out the exact identity.
I think the people working on this will find out who is behind this
whole thing soon.

There seem to be only a handful of people really involved.
BTW, they excitedly reported that very recently two of their number
recently succeeded in materializing an orange and a pendant
at a gathering in Santa Monica. (There's a clue.)

Their email is apparently in the Yorba Linda area.

It doesn't seem that the originators are in control of the private
yahoo group they started up anymore. I sneaked a peek today
(by using the invite they sent, which is good for 30 days from when
I got it). There has been no activity in over a week now.

I believe the dissidents have owner/moderator power of that group
now.

Bill Ryan and Kerry Cassidy are, in my eyes, "persons of interest"
in this whole affair.

Thanks for the header Mike. I've had a look and as you say the IP traces back to Yorba Linda. The ISP is a Wireless Internet provider out of Huntingdon Beach (WiLogic) which appears to use a Level 3 Communications backbone.

The reverse DNS info that came back from the trace is a little odd, I'll look into it a little more.

"Roy" first appeared, in a post at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/prepare4contact with a post related
to Eric Julien's crazy prediction of a comet impact in the Atlantic
on May 25th. He seemed partially supportive.

Subsequently, he would occassionally email a few of us with essays
discussing the issue of Planet X and the Nibiru. Concurrently, he
had more direct contact with Ed Komarek (via phone). He dangled the
hope that Ed could be invited into their effort whereby he would have
the opportunity to interact with 18 human type ETs based in South
America. Ed was very good at not saying too much about that.
(He now considers it "unethical" to do a search on "Roy;s" phone
number, btw.....despite some arm twisting from some of us.)

And, more recently a very private yahoo group:

I was invited to join that, which is amazing given my behavior
at Salla's p4c yahoo group as a confrontive skeptic about the endless

Blair Witch Project was an eye opening event for struggling film writers and directors. Generate enough online buzz...get the juices flowing early on and feed the flames....and your efforts can eventually lead to millions of dollars of revenue...
