Mike,
I'm sure you're on Victor's list. He's linked to a Newsweek story about this. This is an important sighting and is being taken seriously by the main-stream media. I really believe that this sighting will grow legs.

Best,

Kim

None. To suggest otherwise is nuts.

Hi everyone,

Linda Moulton Howe has just posted a link to her new interview with Springer, regarding two cell phone images of the O'Hare object that were sent to ATS:

Two Cell Phone Images of Disc Over Chicago O'Hare Airport

Thanks Springer! :)

C2C News

Well, now it's Charlotte, North Carolina - a major story - hundreds of people calling 911 reporting some kind of UFO. Was it a hovering craft, nobody really knows right now.
"some kind of light in the sky"
"a blueish glow"
"a fire in the sky"
"a light moving too slow to be a plane"

It was in many counties and reported around 8pm, January 25th. The Federal Aviation Administration says there were no reports of plane crashes at all in the area, and even a Huntersville Police officer was dispatched to look for the mysterious object.

Something is going on.

Well, I posted the same thing over at ATS under the O'Hare thread because someone made the comment that it seems things are happening more frequently lately and JBird said he thought there was another thread with pictures about this one and will try to post it later over there for me.

You can check it out if you like or I'll post the link here if he finds it.

And now....

"It's hard to draw a surfer's attention away from the next wave, but whatever was in the northwest sky Friday evening around 6:20 p.m. drew a crowd along Kewalo Basin and Ala Moana Beach Park. "

//"""These two little fireballs with a stream behind it,” said Hollingworth. “Looked kind of like a shooting start but it just kept going. They changed directions a few times, at first it was coming in then it turned, then it went out then it came back in again"""//

And the expert says!:

//""Wynn-Williams believes there's a simple explanation behind the UFO’s.
“It's probably a contrail of some kind,”"//

If these people weren't so sad they'd be funny!

hydden, max,

actually these sightings are not at all unusual. george filer (and others) have documented this stuff ad nauseum for years. what is truly unusual is that the m.s.m. have finally decided to report some of it in a serious way. nothing conspiritorial here. read that roper poll. http://www.ufoevidence.org/topics/publi ... npolls.htm
reporters are people too. among them are abductees and witnesses.

next, i suspect that the theories of david jacobs and stan friedman will leak into the mainstream.

lock your seat-belts- we're going for a ride.

You are right, of course, toon, but I do sense a more "n your face" type of sighting being reported more frequently. In the past they were few and far between with "most" of the sightings being a little bit easier to make fun of. Now there seems to be a new boldness that makes them a lot harder to sweep under the rug. Especially when the type is coming with increasing frequency.

The professor says contrails are caused by high flying airplanes burning hydrogen based fuels. One of the byproducts of the fuel exhaust is water.

The air is very cold so the water condenses and forms like drops very quickly and then these drops stay behind the plane until eventually they warm up and they evaporate.

Though it is my opinion only, the Temperatures Aloft must have been pretty warm at that time to produce such an abbreviated contrail...

But then again, this was Hawaii, and such things are not really uncommon (?).

If I could have viewed more than the just the still picture alone :( (Video Closed ?), the flight paths and velocity of the objects might have been more instructive (IMO).

Thanks, Hydden! :)

Strange, maybe, but I've been having the same sort of feeling about the "frequently" issue myself...

Signs of the Apocalypse, perhaps?

...Or maybe just a touch of ready-made "Apocalypse Fever"? LOL :)

Beats me... ;)

~ By the way, what did you guys think of Springer's pictures?

Given that his digital analysts pronounced a high likelihood that the shots were unaltered and probably authentic, I will just say that I've been to the airport in my day, but have NEVER seen anything like the object portrayed in each of the images -- particularly in the HIGHLY controlled airspace of a Class B terminal (right Max?).

~ Certainly, if I had, I will tell you that such an unusual "manifestation" would have commanded my complete and undivided attention (and shock?) throughout its remaining duration.
