Hmmmm…

Well, here’s a quick question from the top of my head -

Back on January 8th, the T.C. Group recommended an interview with Dan Smith in which he offered the following statement:

Dan Smith wrote: Let us note that in this same time frame I had established an independent contact with the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence as another verification of Tom's benefides. I was told that I was part of something called 'unconventional collections' and that I could rest assured that I was involved with some very competent people.

Q: When Dan is told that he is participating in something called “unconventional collections”, what does he take that phraseology to mean?

What does the term “unconventional collections” mean to him?

Exactly the kind of thing I was talking about, Serpentine. There is so much of that spread out throughout his blog that I'm sure there are more than a few gold nuggets waiting to be mined.

Given the lack of corroboration I'd have to conclude that he made this up out of whole cloth. The 'TC Group' is also nonsense. This is Rick Doty on steroids.

You are being swept into the black hole of cynicism and despair, toon, from which there is no escape. You are now a long strand of cynical spaghetti.

~ Nevertheless, I'm still willing to hear Mr. Smith out, should he be willing to explain his statement.

While skepticism may indeed be warranted, I don't believe that posing the question (or receiving Mr. Smith's answer, if he so elects) should cause any of us too much harm. ;)

My thoughts,

Serpentime :)

This spaghetti agrees with you. I'm anxious to hear what he has to say.

Toon was supposed to be the cynical spaghetti, not serpentine! Get your cynics straight.

II'll post them here so Dan has plenty of time to considerr, should he wish to respond.

Questions for Dan Smith.

How do you forsee disclosure, or a "critical mass of awareness", ever coming to fruition and what is your estimate on the timeframe?

What political or social advantage do you perceive by the ongoing (20 years?) psyops employed by sectors within the intel / ufology circus?

What are your views on the historical and present occult connections to the governments of the world?

You have been writing about the Eschaton for over 10 years. What convinced you personally that such end times are imminent?

Out side of Paperclip and the popular history, what influence do you feel Nazi Germany has had on the landscape of American politics and values?

You may not be directly requesting such, but why should anyone place any trust or faith in what you or Pandolfi or Green or Novell or Hamilton or Puthoff or Scott-Jones or Sarfatti has to say about paranormal subject matter?

In terms of evidence to your claims and aside from educational qualifications, what differentiates you guys from the rest of 'uferdom'?

What evidence do you have that Adm. McConnell even knows DB?

Why do you personally place any credence in DB's claims?

What are your thoughts on George Knapp's article on DB? http://www.ufomag.com/articles/articles ... knapp.html

TIA

Excellent questions, especially concerning Burisch. For me- anything Burisch is a deal killer. Knapp hit that nail squarely on the head. It's also worth taking a look at xenu's stuff at eaglesdisobey.org.

It's not even worth the time, CS.

Centrist, Shawwna and I ran that cult into hiding back in December of 2005. We were finally banned from their "new" forum (which is up now) for asking relatively simple, rational questions and then having to defend ourselves as spies or professional Dan-Debunkers. It was insane!

And it really is sad that DonDep is still over there using as much flowery wording as possible to try and make sense of everything and keep the cult alive.

Actually, the last time I peeked over there, even *he* was having doubts.

Sad.....just sad.....

Hydden, Hydden, Hydden! Shame on you! Just when Dr. Dan Smith is about to finally anoint Dr. DB as the new messiah- (right here on our own RU, maybe) you go and throw cold water on it yet again. Actually- I was looking forward to Ryan having a field day with this latter day Saint John. (I understand Ry's interview with Dr. Smith has been postponed until after his surgery to have Duncan O'Finioan's bionic foot removed from his organic butt . But c'est la vie.) So just pop some of the good stuff and shut the hell up for Borisch sakes!

Excellent - I knew I could count on you guys for some terrific questions. All fantastic ones, and I'll work to incorporate them into the interview which should be around an hour to an hour and a half.

The interview will be conducted in just a few days - and when we post it on the main website, and in here, we will be sure to make it clear that this interview was the result of the efforts of RU staff and the insightful input from our members. Thanks again guys - this should be a fun interview.
