Hi Tom.

thomasd posted a huge list of companies working on green and alternative energy sources but with no real context or reason, hence why i asked him about it.

thanks

I could very well be wrong...but is this spam?

I see that there is 'new technology' mentioned although having worked for an engineering company (Office capacity) which specialised in hydroelectric power, as well as a few other niche fields, I don't see anything new about it.

I also don't see the OP (JohnMarshall) state anything opinion-wise about what he's 'advertising'.

If this is spam that's great news for RU!! Woohoo - people want to run the Xrumer bot on us, we've hit the big time!!

If it's not then sorry OP but what is it that you are suggesting or inferring from your opening, and first, post.

i was wondering the same thing as you m0r, theres no context to the op, just a statement !.

thomasd did a similar thing the other day, just posted a wall of text naming a whole host of companies working on green and new energy sources but absolutely no reasoning, then removed it about an hour or so later!

thanks

It was a spam posting which I've now removed.

We get several spam registrations a day, I usually manually check them all before either approving or deleting the account. The thomasd and this one slipped through my net lol.

Gucci handbags seem to be the bane of my life just now regarding automated spam sent to my blog.

I've got a process in place which blocks all other spam but for whatever reason every day I've got at least 2 asking me where my RSS feed is or giving a vague well done to me on a post which is not worth of a well done.

At least you know you're making it when you are getting semi-relevant spam in your subsections :D

[threads merged and umm... deposited in proper container]

You may be on to something m0r, surely "new energy" spam is a cut above the WoW Gold spam from China we were inundated with a year or two ago...
