I recommend you add a Cryptozoology/Cryptology forum. That is if it hasn't already been suggested.

Good idea, stay tuned... :)

Do you know some other people that might be interested in paticipating here?

(I know very little about Cryptozoology but I've always been fascinated by Cryptology)

Ooooh...excellent idea! I interviewed a Bigfoot hunter just a couple months ago, it would be nice to let him know we have a forum that he'd be interested in. Thanks for the great suggestion.

So your claim is that if it hasn't been seen up to now, it doesn't exist. Great attitude.

No I mean Cryptobollockology meaning Supernatural beasts, beasts of legend etc etc etc, or are you still looking for a Unicorn?

Wow! Feeling the pressure to produce now.
And that's the leading cause of erectile dysfunction. You might wanna study up on those double dicked lizards I referred to. Oh- and be sure to share your findings with Chorlton.

So, nothing of legend has ever been proven to exist?

Don't assume for a minute that Chorlton is somehow bereft of wonder and novelty. Regardless of his skeptical resistance he's living in a world populated by obscure chimera- probably even more so than you.

Somehow this discussion is broken into two threads. So I'm gonna paste this post from the other thread right here because it goes to the heart of this little discussion.

I think those in the field, like Loren Coleman, would define it more along the lines of 'unknown' or 'undiscovered.' It's well known that the Mountain Gorillas were nothing more than a fanciful rumor until a hundred years ago. My personal feeling is that that may turn out to be the case with other 'cryptoids'- such as Bigfoot or even Nessie. It's good to retain a sense of awe in my opinion. Too soon we forget about all those brilliant engineers and scientists of the late 19th century who proved that heavier than air flight was a scientific impossibility. Errr- what were their names again?
