plesiosaurs in the rivers now?

Postby jbondo » Thu Jun 10, 2010 8:01 pm

Seems there's this river called Hawkesbury in a town called Hornsby (wherever that is) that boasts a Nessie type creature according to Heather Gilroy and Greg Foster who spend their time watching for this cryptid beast. I've never really been all that keen on Loc Ness but this is the cryptid forum so I'm a gonna fill it up.

Imagine a monster living on the borders of the upper north shore. An aquatic beast which lurks in the depths of the Hawkesbury River. A creature related to the Loch Ness monster.

For cryptozoologist Rex Gilroy, the fledgling legend of the Hawkesbury River Monster is real and he’s determined to prove it.

Since 1965, he and his wife Heather have been gathering information on a creature he believed still lives in our major waterway, or once did.

After years of ``patience, field trips and stake-outs’’ along the shores of the river, Mr Gilroy, who is also known for his research on the Blue Mountains Panther, hopes to finally obtain photographic evidence.

``Sooner or later, I’m hoping to get the shot of shots,’’ Mr Gilroy told the Advocate.

Tourism, These two? I'd venture to guess more like nutjobs.

Obviously they are seeing something. I wonder how deep this river is? Maybe I'll get the stats on it.

Tourism? yes Tourism

What do you think Nessie was created for? You dont actually believe there is some sort of monster up there in that cold, dank dark dump, do you?

it's gonna take more than some rubber monster to attract tourists to that crappy little island of yours. although some improvement in the food might help. just figured i'd let you know.
