I am a member of the OM forum. I have been treated quite badly there, yet i still hang on.

There was a member there that said maybe i should come here. so i did.

I am from Florida and i have a great interst in ufology. There seems to be quite a bit of animosity between OM and RU. Arent we all after the same thing?

Anyway, I am here now and still at OM. I hope that I will be treated better here than i have been treated there. Evidently I am immature and childish. It is my understanding that the OM forum is british and that may be why they dont understand me. But then again greatwaller is not british and he has turned his back on me as well. all because I didnt want to make amends with someone he liked. oh well....

I truly hope i am better received here than i was there. All i want is the truth. We are all alike in that sense, but after that the wall seems to crumble.

PS. this board looks GREAT! I hate the nagging pictures and ads that that are so big before you get to the actual forums at OM. 'Crystal Knight' it is most annoying to look at before EVERY single subforum you goto.

Reason wins out over emotion every time.

Personally, I don't see much "animosity" here - one of the reasons I signed up here was that people were bending over backwards to be polite.

I don't read OM so I only know what people end up reposting here.. I guess one could interpret me not reading what they write at OM as an act of animosity -- if they really wanted to stretch it

I don't think the mod being British is the reason for the treatment you've been getting.

I read your IP post today and thought you'd be likely to get flak for it - as Shawnna has said there is some discussion on it here too, which appears similar to your findings, and IMO closer to the truth of the matter.

I'm now a Burisch skeptic which has led me to here, for as some of us earlier assumed, many of these stories have common threads and promoters.

This also seems to be a common complaint among the believers (not only serpo devotees):

What i dont get about that forum is if they all believe Serpo to be a hoax then why not let it end rather than spend countless hours of your life trying to make others believe its a lie. If its total BS why O why would you WASTE so much time trying to make others believe your point of view? Why not let those that wish to believe, believe.

Many reasons;

many hoaxes that have gone before these current ones,

many people got hurt and some had their lives totally messed up over Burisch,

many people died over Hale Bopp/Heavens Gate..... was that OK, to "let those that wish to believe, believe" for example?

We have every right to spend as many hours as we want delving into the who's, why's and wherefores, and share our findings in a non-confrontational forum or two

Frankly, I could not possibly care less what anybody else believes.

People should be allowed to believe whatever the heck they want - just as people should be allowed to do legitimate research and publish as they see fit.

I went ahead and made it so i got myself banned last night. They are COMPLETELY biased there and dont treat people the same. I can still read what goes on there quite easily however. which is absolutely NOTHING. LOL

The OM forum is a dead horse. Noone posts there (besides me and maybe 3 others) and I am happy to not add anything else to that idiotic forum.

greatwaller is a total nag to victor martinez. I could easily tell that in reading victors post back to GW. GW wrote "yet nother" letter to VM for disclosure from these people. I guess GW thinks that if he doesnt write to VM then noone will try to do anything because GW didnt ask for it. LMMFAO!!!! VM appears to be sick of GW and his constant nagging for more information regarding Serpo. It will come out when it comes out. Which is probably never. But i do hope I am wrong about that.

ps. The IP thing I wrote about wasnt for or against anyone, it is just plain FACT based on the numbers I saw. Cant argue against FACT and i guess that is why TheShadow (Mr. know it all) suggested I come here for it. Actually, that was the best thing he has ever done for me. LOL

Using logic to put the staff at the OM forum in their place was wonderful to read! they simply cannot handle logic it seems. man you guys REALLY hammered them good with plain talk and logic. you know.. facts.

lol....glad you liked it Dankk. That was a few weeks or so worth of correspondence and research to get everything lined up and sorted out. When the truth was obvious, it actually was pretty comical. Welcome to our humble forum - and enjoy your reading. You're right - a lot of people have told us it's refreshing to read solid evidence and straightforward logic.

That's correct - the Latrine isn't a free-for-all, no holds barred... It's the place for discussion regarding OM content and topics, since normal members weren't interested in reading that stuff in the main thread. All forum rules still do apply.

You haven't been silenced Dankk, any more than anyone else here is who is asked to follow courtesy rules.
