it looks as if the last several members signed up here may be scammers using their profiles to promote a variety of commercial websites. i suggest that the web-site option in the account profiles area be eliminated to prevent this.

Thanks for the suggestion CS. We get anywhere between 5-15 of these automatically-generated registrations a day and they are deleted (usually) the same day. I will be implementing a verification process at signup shortly - hopefully that will stop the majority of the spammers.
