It came about from a few private and amusing email exchanges.

The person that email was sent to - we spoke on the phone this afternoon and went over about that episode again...he reviewed what happened subsequent to that email.
The man who was thought to be Gene was approached (by the sender of the above email) and provided the Serpo anonymous postings....his reaction was "what is this??" - and in the end, the person who approached him was actually made to look rather foolish.
Not the first time that has happened either. Some time, if he's in a good mood and willing, he might even share the story with us about Rick Doty's "Poem"....lol
