Easily the most disturbing thing Dr. Dan has ever said in his blog:
Once this Pandora's box is opened, nothing will ever be the same. Every last one of us will have some nostalgia for these good old days, i.e. the last six thousand years of history. Tomorrow that sweet sadness will be gone forever. It will be a brave new world. Savor our innocence for these last couple of days. We'll be wishing that Ron could have kept us all going in circles for just another week or two.

These few sentences sent a chill down my spine. Pandora's box has indeed been opened and the furies released. Societal decay is now overwhelming and inevitable. Entropy is before us, history behind us and It need have nothing to with disclosure. The accidental anti-Christ reigns in DC.

ouch.

Images of the Children's book "The Pet Goat" keep flashing through my mind - usually for about 5 minutes. Can't seem to remember why but something tells me it's important. lol

Don't be a propagandist.

You know and I know those have nothing to do with the Patriot Act.

You know and I know that the power to wage war has always resided in the Executive branch, and up until the War Powers act it was unrestricted.
No new violations of anything there.

That has NOTHING to do with any "assault on the Constitution".

I had a friend who used to work for ford, Another who worked for GM. I gave the Ford friend a safety pin. He turned it into a safety pin. I gave the friend from GM a safety pin. He turned it into a B-52.

You remind me of the friend from GM.

The president may wage war for a period of 90 days without a declaration of war from Congress under the War Powers Act. Before the War Powers Act was passed the president routinely waged war without Congress ever coming close to withholding funds. During Vietnam when this became contentious Congress passed the WPA to limit future presidents ability to conduct war without a declaration of war from the legislators. But of course, you know all of this. You're just being a propagandist again!

BTW your brothers on the pink side of the street used to excel at propaganda. It was later changed to "spin" during Clinton's regime. But of course it would depend on what the meaning of the word "is" is.

Enough of this.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to defer to Springer's advice here and let you get back to your little life of quiet desperation.

Dan Smith wrote:Or, why is Chicken Little like Joseph? He interprets Pharaoh's 'dream'. It's also called Unconventional Collections.

Hi Mr. Smith,

Thank you for your explanation. :)

I appreciate your time and the enlightening simile.

~ We are told that Joseph was the anointed of God – sent forth into Egypt to prepare the way for his people’s coming trial.

After interpreting the meaning of God’s warnings to Pharaoh, Pharaoh appointed Joseph as Governor over all of the land of Egypt, and made him go out among the people to make them ready for the coming ordeal.

But when the people cried out from famine - and begged for food, that they could not afford the price - Joseph instead sold their lands to Pharaoh, and delivered all of their lives into Pharaoh's eternal bondage and servitude.

It was Pharaoh, in his wisdom, who commanded Joseph to go among the people – that he might make them ready.

~ But what was it that Pharaoh, himself, wished to receive in return?

That was my intrigue regarding “Unconventional Collections”. ;)

Best,

Adieux TOON.

Yes, enough is enough, you will not be confused with facts once your mind is made up.

You did not ONCE counter an argument I made with anything VALID on your side.

AND now, typically, away in a huff and puff you go decrying the sad mental state of those around you. It's just as well. I was tiring of peeing in the wind myself.

I sincerely hope that you learn to walk the walk someday, as well as talk the talk, because I really think deep (very deep) inside all of that blather is someone worth saving from themselves.

I continue to be impressed with the lucidity of your statements.

Dan Smith Interview

This interview was completed Wednesday evening this week (Feb 7th) - and we covered a broad range of topics. It lasted for just under an hour and a half. This interview was conducted over Skype-to-Phone and recorded to mp3 at a fairly high quality, then compressed it down to 38Mb for ease of download.

To get the best quality - use headphones, since Dan is over the phone and has a low voice it can muffle a few words at the beginning if you only use your computer speakers. Over earphones it comes in more clearly, the muffled parts are only mostly at the beginning it appears. Assuming I can find the time this weekend, I'll work on getting transcripts posted.

Hey - also a fantastic Article posted on the website as well! Thanks Max! Fantastic work there....

Thanks for your patience everyone - enjoy the interview!

Quick technical note - this interview was conducted in stereo...so that my voice comes from the right speaker, and Dan comes from the left. Almost as though you're sitting in the middle at a conference table with us.

You need to make sure you have stereo enabled - if you listen to this interview in mono (or non-stereo headphones), you will only hear my voice.

Great interview, Ryan. I'm a bit mystified now. This guy is being used for some important ends. For what and by whom- who knows? What's your take?
