Hey everyone, this isn’t a hard and fast rule but a polite request…

Guidelines for Quoting

1. If you’re responding to a post immediately before yours, please don’t quote the entire post. This seems unnecessary unless you think the post is controversial and you want to prevent them from editing their post later and claiming they never said that.

2. If you’re responding to an earlier post in a thread, please quote only the minimum portions necessary to indicate specifically what you’re responding to.

The reasons for this are twofold, it helps keeps the size of our database down (think cost and performance) and it makes it easier for others to read a thread.
