Despite England not getting the win I thought our overall play deserved, it was a very entertaining game. The US have come a long way and played some good stuff. England and USA to go through to the next round, methinks.

Not so much luck, but UNluck, I would say. There wasn't an OUNCE of "luck" on the US side. It certainly took SKILL to get that strike setup, because in soccer we know it is NEVER just about the final strike, but the events that lead up to it. And a blundering keeper also helps!!! I can sense your pride must be a bit tarnished for you to try to minimize the USA's play while not even making a peep about how stupid your tender looked, and performed!

Well, it looks like both of our Cup runs ended on the same weekend!

But it looks to me like the schooling of England by the Germans was especially fierce, and likely hard to accept by our British friends.

No, we would have stood a better chance with the women's team.
We fielded a bunch of overhyped and overpaid nancy boys who, apparently, were tired.

That said, if the second goal had rightfully been given, we wouldn't have been chasing the game in the first place, spurred on by a reckless surge of wanting to right a wrong. It could have been an entirely different game.

They're still a bunch of tossers.

The 30000 English fans showed infinitely more heart over the course of this world cup than that England team. Scandalous
